Kayla proposes a dare.

Kayla steps forward to whisper in Melody’s ear, and she nods. “I’m not really sure where you’re going with this, but okay. John, I dare you to let us fill up one shot glass with anything we want, and then drink it.”

“I promise it won’t be full of bodily fluids,” Kayla giggles.

Sighing with relief—you’d be willing to drink any bizarre cocktail she might mix up, but that would have been a little beyond the pale—you nod in acceptance.

Kayla smirks in an extremely unsettling manner as she produces a travel-size bottle full of a mysterious pink liquid from one of her pockets. Judging from the confused looks on the faces of the other players, they have no better idea what it might be than you.

Kayla pours about half the contents of the bottle into a shot glass, as promised, and then turns to you. “What you’re about to drink is one of my own concoctions. It’s completely safe for human consumption, and its effects should wear off within a couple of minutes.”

You stare at her dubiously. “What...effects?”

“Drink it and find out,” she tells you smugly.
