Kailyn Tries To Comfort Kenny

The trio remained in a deadlock, none seemingly having the confidence to step up and take the chance to help their friend. Out of the three, Mindy was taking it the worst, now absolutely terrified that she had somehow ruined everything in her friendship with Kenny. Brian felt self-assured that his presence wouldn't be welcomed, so he occasionally cleared his throat before looking at the two girls expectantly. After a few short minutes, Kailyn wet her lips and spoke up, "Alright, waiting is just making matters worse, I'll try and talk to him, and if he has an issue with me, I'll leave alone,"

"Thank you, Kai," Mindy breathed out a sigh of relief while quickly hugging the girl, "I want to help him but...I just-"

"It's fine, just take a few deep breaths, Mindy, I'm sure everything between you two is perfectly okay," Kailyn assured her while giving the girl a quick pat on the back,

As the girls broke their hug, they both heard soft footsteps heading down the stairs, "Um, hi," Zoey's slightly embarrassed voice said while she walked down, bag in hand, "This is sorta awkward to say, but I'm not really sure where I can put my stuff..."

Brian reached up and scratched the back of his head, "Ah...right, uh, you know maybe it's a good idea for us all to talk about the room situations, Kai if you can, could you bring Kenny down afterward?"

"Sure," Kailyn agreed while she stepped past Zoey while heading up the stairs,

"Is everything okay?" Zoey softly asked with a concerned tone,

"Probably, Kenny just...got a bit pissed off over something, I guess, Kailyn's going to talk to him," Brian replied causing Zoey's heart to start thumping hard, wondering if this was her fault for denying Kenny her feelings earlier, "Don't worry, we'll get you all sorted out where things won't be awkward. Uh...why don't you two chill out in the den, and I'll get the others so we can hash out a new room plan,"

Mindy let out a quick nod and looked over to Zoey who shuffled her feet towards the den with a worried glance to the stairs, "Did you know what was wrong?"

"No...he just stormed off, we tried to talk to him, but he ignored us," Mindy lowly replied, "I hope he talks to Kailyn," Zoey swallowed hard, silently hoping that Kailyn would be able to help Kenny through whatever he was dealing with as well.

As Brian made his rounds through the first floor, checking for the others, Kailyn reached the bathroom at the far end of the hall and lightly knocked on the door, "Kenny? Hey, Ken? It's Kailyn, you there?" The college girl softly asked only to hear the sound of the sink running, "Kenny, can you open up? I just want to talk," A few long minutes past, though Kailyn remained firmly in place, not hesitating in her conviction to talk to the troubled teen. Finally, she heard a click, and the doorknob turned, pulling open an inch. "Hey..." Kailyn softly said while pushing the door open and slipping inside, shutting it quietly behind her. Kenny ignored Kailyn's greeting, moving back to the sink letting his sore knuckles return to the rushing water, "Your hand okay?" Kailyn asked while approaching him,

"My knuckles hurt, and it's swollen," Kenny dryly replied before returning to silence, feeling a bit irritated in himself for being dumb enough to punch solid wood like that,

"I can see that. Your knuckles are all red," Kailyn gently replied while reaching out, easily taking Kenny's hand, bringing it towards her to inspect the damage, "What happened?"

"I punched the doorframe in the kitchen," Kenny replied as he continued to lean against the sink with his head lowered, letting Kailyn do what she wanted,

"Why'd you do that?" Kailyn replied, trying to feign ignorance of the situation entirely,

"I got mad," Kenny muttered back, still remaining short with the woman,

"Yeah, but why? What happened to set you off?" Kailyn easily pushed for Kenny to get what was bugging him off his chest,

"Before or after Nicole told me she had a threesome with Rachel and JJ while I was gone," Kenny very nearly growled back, "Because if you're talking about after that? Then, Nicole told me she only wants, and will ever, to be a fuck buddy with me. In her own words, she's never felt anything for me past desire and knows now that we'll never be right for each other. Apparently, it was Rachel's wise fucking advice!" Kenny finally yelled out while yanking his hand away from Kailyn's hands, "But instead of waiting to talk to me about it, like we both fucking agreed to do earlier today, she goes off and fucks your best friend and brother!"

"JJ really did that?" Kailyn gasped with a set of wide eyes,

"Yeah, some fucking friend," Kenny spat out, "So here I am, alone! I don't have anyone, and I don't know if I can even fucking trust anyone!"

"Ken, be easy, you're not alone and you know that's not true," Kailyn soothingly stated,

"Do I? Who do I trust, Rachel, who broke up my chance with Nicole? Nicole, who fucked people behind my back twice out of spite? JJ, my best friend who fucked Nicole behind my back? Brian, my other friend who did the same thing?! Oh, oh, maybe, Mindy, right? The girl I've been friends with my whole life," Kenny sneered, "Wait, nope! Can't do that because she waited until I got drunk to fuck me then decided to hop on the Brian train too!"

"Okay, okay, I can see that you're upset, but you're just making issues up now," Kailyn sharply interrupted his rant, "Mindy, told me you two talked, and both decided to stay friends. Why are you trying to blame her for moving on,"

"I...I don't know!" Kenny barked back before hanging his head, taking a few deep breaths, "I don't fucking know, Kai...I've just never felt more betrayed in my life,"

"Ken, have you talked to JJ about it? You know him, he's never tried to do anything against you before this," Kailyn reminded the teen who stood up and scoffed,

"What's there to talk about? I mean what's he going to say, "Hey man, I'm sorry I stabbed you in the back." Or is he going to lie and try and convince me he's innocent," Kenny retorted, "JJ knew from the first day that Nicole and I were...pfft, what the fuck were we anyhow?" He suddenly asked while looking up, "Nothing...right?"

"Kenny, hey, look at me," Kenny's brown eyes lowered, and he locked them on Kailyn's, "I know you're hurting right now, but not everyone is against you. I've known you for years, and this blame everyone and playing a victim mentality isn't you. You're better than that, you think things through, you wouldn't let a single event ruin multiple life-long friendships," Kenny's eyes slowly started to go soft, "I know you're upset, and you have a right to be, but can you honestly say that you want nothing to do with JJ and Mindy anymore?"

"No..." Kenny sighed while hanging his head, "Mindy didn't do anything wrong...but JJ he-he..." Kenny started to argue before letting out a breaking exhale, "Nicole played with my heart for the last few days and then just stomped on it back there," He finally whispered out, "Everything I thought was real and meaningful between us was a sham, Kai, it never even fucking existed,"

"Then you shouldn't give her the satisfaction of caring about her walking away," Kailyn firmly stated, "She missed out on a great guy, and one day, she's going to know it." Kenny weakly smiled back at Kailyn who gave him back a full, reassuring one of her own, "Come here," Kailyn tenderly said while stepping closer to Kenny, pulling the teen into a tight, squeezing hug, "I know it hurts, Kenny, the first time always does, but don't let it wreck you like this." Kailyn gently said as she felt Kenny's arms wrap around her back, holding her tight, "Talk to JJ too, and if he really did do this knowingly, then come get me, because I promise, I will help you kick his ass,"

Kenny finally let out a soft chuckle, "Thanks Kai, I'm glad you're here,"

"Of course, Ken, you think after all these years I'd just see you hurting and write you off?" She smiled while pulling back, looking the teen in the eye, "I'll always be there for you when you need someone in your court," Kenny held the girls gaze for a long minute before letting out a sharp exhale through his nose, jamming his lips against Kailyn's while bringing one of his hands up her back, cupping her head while the second slid down, gripping the girls bubbly rump. Kailyn let out a surprised hum into Kenny's mouth but instantly felt her cunt quiver with excitement.
