Chapter 78 by Daylan Daylan

Should You Stay Or Should You Go?

Go

As much as you would love another knob polishing courtesy of Amelia's mouth and tongue, the promise of an explanation is genuinely as much a consideration as the promise of more sex. With that extra factor involved, you decide to show some restraint and abstain from fucking your dorm-mate for the time being. Though, seeing the disappointment in her eyes, you promise Amelia that the next time the two of you are together, you will fire at least one load off in each of her holes.

She cheered up immensely after that.

Dinner is uneventful, save for seeing Artie again. He nods politely to you for a moment but otherwise is visibly so caught up in reading from a textbook as he eats that it seems rude to further interrupt him. Of course, you are equally distracted by thoughts of what is to come later tonight, so it is not as if you would be the best of company at the moment either. After that, you go back to finish up some homework and finally head off to the appointed meeting place.

Previously, you had only seen the old, abandoned Alchemy Studies building in profile. Now that you are up close to it, the structure gives off an almost palpable sense of foreboding. Most of the windows of the four story structure are boarded up, save for a few here and there that are either blown out or have had the coverings torn off in one way or another. One section of the roof and top floor has collapsed, giving the whole structure an angular tilt, which the lack of lighting both within and around it only makes more pronounced. As you draw closer still, you just barely notice a dull glow seeping out behind a few of the still boarded up windows and you idly wonder if you may soon be having your first encounter with an actual ghost.

This line of thought is not helped as the seemingly empty air in front of you suddenly says, "At least you're punctual this time, Worm."

You fight the urge to jump back but you are fairly sure Harmony saw you flinching at least as she pulls back the hood of her Cloak of Invisibility so just her head is visible to you. "We're going to room 215," she says without preamble, "go down the right hallway and up to the second floor. It will be the third door on the right from there. Do not go into any other rooms. THEY... will observe us from there."

With that, and before you can ask any questions like what she meant by "they", she pulls her hood back up and vanishes again. Clicking your tongue in annoyance, you step inside the building, the front doors having rotted off at some point. You take the right hallway as instructed and squint to see beyond what the few slivers of moonlight illuminate in front of you. As you pass by one of the classroom doors, you notice the same kind of faint glow you saw from the outside just barely seeping through the cracks and you pause for a moment as you hear a rather... distinctive sound. A woman's pleasured moan, faint and muffled as it may be, is a noise you easily recognize by now and your brow furrows as you start looking to see if there is a keyhole or something to peek through.

"What did I tell you about other rooms?!" Harmony's whisper hisses in your ear, making you realize she has not gone on ahead but is instead shadowing you behind her magic cover.

"Your note made it sound like nobody else comes here," you whisper back as you stand up and resume walking, "I got curious."

"This is a place for keeping encounters more... private than one's dorm. Some people do not like others knowing exactly who they are sleeping with... or what tastes they engage in when they do so."

You smirk, snickering under your breath, "Like maybe sneaking in with an Invisibility Cloak to play voyeur?"

Harmony snorts. Her voice gaining a tint of annoyance as she replies, "Please. If I wanted to do that I would have to either follow someone so extremely closely into the room before they closed the door that they would feel me or the cloak touching them, or I would have had to have paid for the extra intangibility option to cross through the door when they were already inside. That would have cost twenty-five hundred dollars more."

"Too rich even for your blood?"

"Frankly, given how hideously easy it is for even a careful person to lose items that can become intangible... yes."

The two of you fall silent as you continue your journey, eventually reaching the stairs and ascending to the second floor. Once you reach room 215, you open the door and step aside, Harmony pulling back the hood again to look around nervously before walking inside. You close the door behind the two of you and, despite only having the back of her head visible at the moment, you swear you almost see Harmony jump slightly. On top of that, less than a second later, you feel a tingling run up your spine as the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. You get the sense of... something, swirling around, just behind the doors and the boarded up windows.

Harmony, for her part, walks over to the teacher's desk and her hand peeks out from the shroud as she casts a spell that causes a magic lantern to start illuminating, letting you better see your surroundings. It is an abandoned classroom, looking like many you have seen already but with a more dated appearance to it. The desks have all been shoved against the sides of the room, with a set of storage cubes in the back still shrouded in darkness. In the center of the room, laying on the dusty floor, is a surprisingly clean looking mattress given the dirty and worn state of everything else around the two of you.

Turning to you, Harmony licks her lips nervously and says, "That sensation you are feeling is that of the souls and spirits I invoked in my invitation surrounding the room. Should I go back on my word in any capacity, they will punish me for it. They shall also discourage any attempts to spy on or intervene with these proceedings. We are... alone."

Saying that final word seems to cause something inside of Harmony to buckle and her attempt to keep a haughty demeanor wavers as she looks away from you shamefully. At the same time you feel a vibration pass through your body as you less hear and more KNOW a response from the spirits around the room that amounts to, "Truth she speaks and truth she shall perform."

"S-So I suppose you'll want to sate your lust first?" she shakily snaps, trying to still sound forceful and superior, "O-Or are you not so completely classless that you are willing to have a conversation with a lady before you boorishly claim her, Worm?"
