Chapter 14 by Rowenar Rowenar

What does Rose see?

A different city, full of naked women

The Doctor at last pulled back from the console, pulling a lever down. Right, he'd found a small tear he could use as an exit from the Land of Fiction, and he'd tethered one of the portals from the white void to the main body of fiction to the TARDIS's location.

He knew from his past journeys here that being able to get out quickly was important. As soon as he found Rose, he should be able to find a tear, go through, and end up right outside the TARDIS.

He glanced around, picking up an improvised scanner, and stepped back. Ok, last thing to check was...

He leaned back over to the scanner, verifying Rose's location. The display resolved from white, to a sea of ink, to words once more.

"Right," he muttered. "Where have you gone... Ok, getting to the borders of ENF now, you're in..."

Then his eyes went wide and, with much more urgency, the Doctor left the TARDIS.

Rose did a double take. It was a city, yes. Not exactly the city she'd left, it didn't have a remotely London vibe to it, but that was just the architecture. The people...

There were all kinds of people, but the common thread was that every woman she could see didn't have a stitch on. No dresss, no underwear, not even shoes.

Some handled it better than others; some were walking with their heads held high, while others hurried down the street, regularly ducking behind bus stops and bins for some **** kind of cover.

They didn't seem to have been affected by the rain either, but Rose barely noticed that. This place was weird enough as it was; flushed red, Rose stumbled to a bench, crouching behind it.

Did this mean she was closer to or further from where she'd started? She hadn't seen others in the same boat as her, photos aside, but now she was surrounded by them. Was that better or worse?

She whimpered, peering over the back of the bench desperately. Where could she even go? Her best bet might be to hunt around for a map, but she doubted they'd be clearly labelled with 'Place the TARDIS landed.'

Oh god. She shifted, pushing her sodden and sticking skirt down her legs again, taking a moment to try and wring what water she could out of it. It didn't do much to help with the transparency. Fuck.

Rose didn't particularly want to ask help from any of the myriad people that stared at her and never helped, but maybe...

Glancing from side to side, Rose flushed, then **** herself to run from behind the bench to inside a bus stop, using that shelter to hide herself as best she could. There was a naked brunette crouched in the same place.

"Hey," Rose said awkwardly. "This might sound weird, but I'm looking for a blue box-"

The woman turned, exposing herself for a moment before she saw Rose, then she shrieked from embarrassment and immediately ran, now baring herself to the street at large in her panic.

Well, Rose supposed she probably couldn't blame her. She'd hardly want to offer directions while she was stark naked.

Then she frowned. Left abandoned by the corner of the bus stop was what looked like a laptop bag; hurriedly, Rose grabbed it, sitting with it on her lap in a **** hope that it would partially cover her. She flushed.

The bag shook; Rose jumped.

Damn it, couldn't she even have this?! She was wearing nothing but glorified socks, shoes and a transparent dress and the only real hope for modesty she had was hiding behind a bloody computer bag, and now it was trying to wrench itself from her grip.

Whimpering, Rose unzipped the bag, hoping whatever was making it jump around would get out.

Instead, a laptop fell out. Huh. That was probably the least surprising thing that had happened to her. She barely blinked as it opened of its own accord, lying on the ground.

Instead she squirmed, shivering and clutching the empty-bag on her lap, hugging it against her tits.

The laptop flickered on. Rose hesitated, glancing down at it. Tentatively she nudged it with her shoes, trying to push it away-

Her shoe stuck to the screen. Rose's eyes widened. What-

And then it started to pull, somehow, impossibly. Eyes widening, Rose tried to pull back, but the laptop didn't seem particularly concerned with little things like the laws of physics. Her foot had been sucked into the screen up to the ankle; it didn't hurt, more tingled, but Rose was still pretty sure she didn't want to end up in there.

What the fuck? She didn't have a clue what was going on, but she hadn't understood half of what had happened to her since she'd ended up in this place.

It pulled more, and her flailing only ended up with it taking ahold of her other foot. The bag slipped out of her grip, and Rose grabbed at a railing on the bus stop's side, face going bright red as she realised there was nothing stopping the street getting a full frontal view of her body through the wet dress; she had other priorities than modesty just then.

"Help!" she shouted, whimpering as she just succeeded in attracting more attention. "Help!"

No one came any closer, but far too many people stared; she strained to hold on, but it was pulling too hard.

Her hands slipped, and Rose somehow found herself being pulled into the computer-

And ended up exactly where she had been, with no sign of the bag of laptop. She blinked, dizzy for a moment, head foggy with words. Ok, what the fuck had that been?

She inhaled. Something felt off. Just-

She was dry. Ok, that was something, it no longer felt like she'd been caught in the rain. And, and-

Rose screamed, looking down at herself. Her dress had gone! And along with that her shoes and her stockings. She couldn't even have the pretense of modesty.

Panicking, she pulled her knees up to her chest, curling up on the floor of the bus stop, bright red.

Seriously?! Not content with Zorro and Superman, apparently random laptops were no more than elaborate ways to strip her. It- it couldn't have done anything else, she was sure.

Rose whimpered. She had to get out of this place!

What happens?
