JJ And Mindy Help Each Other Think

While the other's spread out throughout the lodge, JJ and Mindy moved towards the den, both taking a seat on the couch. They shared a look of wide-eyed, shock before looking away, waiting for Kenny and Zoey to leave before talking as not to be heard by the pair. The moment the door shut behind Kenny's back, JJ let out a long exhale, "Wow, what the fuck, right?"

"I know!" Mindy nearly exclaimed with a toss of her hands, "I can't believe what happened with Zoey and Eric,"

"I can't believe what happened with them, I can't believe what's happening with Kenny, fuck, I can't believe what's going on with me," JJ ranted for a moment before slumping back on the couch, covering his face with one hand, rubbing his eyes slowly, "This whole week got real complicated,"

"Tell me about it," Mindy mumbled in agreement, "I came here thinking I'd leave with Kenny as my boyfriend, fat chance of that happening now," She said rather nonchalantly, not sounding very upset over the fact, almost amused,

"Uh...Mindy, is that you?" JJ lightly joked while looking over to his friend in concern, Mindy looked back at him with a small sarcastic frown, "What, come on, all I've heard for the last few years is, Kenny this, and Kenny that. Now all of a sudden it's, oh I'm not gonna get with Kenny, oh well,"

"We talked," Mindy replied with a shake of her head, "I told him that I wasn't sure what I was feeling anymore and he told me that he was having so much on his mind that maybe we should just stick to being friends," Mindy explained, "At least, that's how I took it,"

"What do you mean, you didn't know what you were feeling anymore. Mindy, what the fuck happened since the other day?" JJ asked with a bewildered look,

"I...ugh," Mindy sighed while hunching over and holding her face in her hands, "I'm not exactly sure," The Asian's girls muffled voice replied,

"Okay...how about you tell me the exact things though, then maybe we can figure it out together," JJ said with a soft laugh, "C'mon, Mindy, you never had trouble telling me shit before. You know you can trust me,"

"Yeah, I know," Mindy agreed with a small nod before putting her hands down on her legs, "I...had sex with Brian," She mumbled out with a set of rosy cheeks,

"Oh, well, shit...didn't expect to hear that," JJ admitted in genuine surprise,

Mindy leaned back on the couch and let out a long exhale, "Trust me, I never expected to say it either," She assured her friend, "The problem is, I think I may like the fact that I did,"

"That's a problem?" JJ replied with a raised brow,

"You know Brian, he's no Kenny, he's not going to be like...my boyfriend, he's just going to want to fuck me, that's all," JJ let out an understanding nod though before he could reply, Mindy continued, "I mean, yeah, I sorta like it. I don't know, maybe that's all I'm looking for right now, but I don't know. I always thought I was going to be in a really deep thing with someone but when Brian showed up and we...it just felt nice, and I didn't care,"

"Okay, before you start giving me details," JJ interrupted with a smirk, "Let me just say, if you don't find an honest to god problem besides social stigma on what's normal, then you don't have any. Enjoying a casual thing with a friend of yours isn't something that you should turn away from, as long as you are okay with that. I won't lie, Brian isn't the must...faithful person we know, so, yeah, I wouldn't expect much of exclusivity with him,"

"I know," Mindy agreed, "I guess it's just a weird switch,"

"But, if he's got you rethinking things with Kenny...I don't know; maybe you should explore it. It seems he's at least got into your head and it may be healthy for you to try something like that out," JJ shrugged, "You can always kick him in the nuts if he pisses you off," JJ joked causing his friend to let out a loud laugh,

"Thanks, JJ, I needed that," Mindy giggled, "But what about you? What's happened to get you so confused this week?"

JJ wet his lips and looked around before shifting closer to Mindy, "Rachel, okay? She's...we've done some stuff,"

"Okay?" Mindy replied with a slightly confused look, "And?"

"What do you mean and?" JJ asked back with nearly a frown, "That's my friend sister,"

"So," Mindy said, her face still perplexed, "You're two adults, you two can do things without Brian's permission. It's not like he's Rachel's dad,"

"Mindy...it's, ugh, C'mon, how are you not getting this," JJ muttered back, "It's so not cool to do another guys sister, it's like...an unspoken rule or part of a code,"

Mindy's brow raised, and she tried to process what JJ said for a moment, "Right...but it's not like you're taking advantage of his sister. If you had come here, got Rachel in a room and pressured her for sex, then yeah, I'd be like, "That's screwed up, JJ." But, Rachel's pretty open about that stuff, considering she made out with Kenny and already got to you too,"

JJ went silent and pursed his lips, not wanting to deny or accept what Mindy said, just letting it sit in his head. "Can we just take a second and mention what the fuck is going on with Kenny?" JJ suddenly said with an amused smile, "That guy is like...James Bond or something right now,"

"Tell me about it," Mindy lightly laughed, "He's gotten Nicole, me, I think Rachel, and based off what we just saw, something tells me he's gotten to Zoey too,"

"Right?! Oh thank god, I wasn't the only one who noticed the way Zoey was looking at him, something has got to be going on with them too," JJ exclaimed with a toss of his hands, "Nicole looked pretty pissed off again,"

"I know, I talked to her yesterday. She was so angry with Kenny because of me she fucked Brian, though it was in the heat of the moment," Mindy said with a small shake of her head, "To be fair, I think she got pretty hurt and lashed out. I can't say I'd have done the same, but I can understand the impulse,"

"Yeah...has anyone else gone to talk to her yet?" JJ asked in some concern,

"I don't know," Mindy softly replied, "But maybe someone should, I think she could use a friend to keep her in control. It won't do her and Kenny's relationship any good if she acts out again,"

"That's true," JJ agreed, "Well if they still have a relationship that is,"

Mindy nodded in agreement as she crossed her arms and thought, "So, you really think I should try things out with Brian?" JJ shrugged his shoulders,

"You really think I shouldn't feel bad about having sex with Rachel even though she's Brian's sister?" JJ asked back receiving a shrug from Mindy in turn. The pair silently sat on the couch, each thinking of their personal partners as well as the situation with Nicole.
