Rachel Gives Nicole Some Advice

The moment Kenny agreed to take Zoey home, Rachel's eyes looked over at Nicole, and she wasn't surprised to see the girl a bottle of fury ready to uncork at any second. When her brother started to usher everyone out of the kitchen, Rachel instantly followed Nicole who was storming around the lodge seemingly at random. She could hear the girl muttering under her breath, her head occasionally shaking before she finally shoved open the door to the rec-room. Rachel easily slipped into the room behind her and shut the door behind her, "Hey, Nicole..." Rachel finally said as the redhead braced herself on the pool table, taking long deep breaths,

Nicole's hands gripped the table for a moment, her skin crawling at the sound of the girl's voice, "Can't you take a fucking hint? I want to be alone!"

"You need to take a breath," Rachel easily replied causing the redhead's eyes to flare up and her body to spin around to face the older blonde girl, "Listen, you're misinterpreting what you feel about Kenny,"

"Excuse me?!" Nicole spat back, "What the fuck would you know about it?!"

"You don't really care about Kenny because you want to be with him," Rachel replied with a dismissive look, "The only reason you care about what he's doing is because you don't normally have this happen."

"Don't have what happen? Start making some fucking sense!" Nicole barked out,

"Calm down," Rachel shot back with a frown, "I'm trying to help, but I won't do it while you're shouting at me," Nicole let out a scoff and crossed her arms, leaning back on the pool table before looking at Rachel expectantly, "Good, now just listen, you like Kenny's personality, but not Kenny,"

"What? Of course, I like Kenny; he's one of my fucking friends," Nicole retorted with a frown,

Rachel rolled her eyes, "Oh my god, no shit, Nicole, I meant you don't like him in a serious way." She rephrased, "No matter how much you two do and how enjoyable he is to be around, you're just not at a level of wanting to commit to him, right?"

Nicole hung her head, her brow narrowed as she thought about Rachel's words, "I-I don't know," Nicole muttered, "No...you're wrong, I like Kenny, we've done things that I almost never do with other guys!" The redhead suddenly exclaimed, her voice sounding much more worried now,

"Because you haven't ever been with a guy like him, right?" Nicole's eyes slightly widened, "Let me guess, when you two first started messing around, you didn't decide to do it because you just liked Kenny, it was something in the heat of the moment, right?"

Nicole's brow raised as she thought back to the first morning at the lodge, how she didn't care about bunking with Kenny like Mindy and Anna, so she took the room with him as a favor to them both. Once again Nicole's eyes shut, and she gently shook her head, thinking immediately about what Mindy said to her once she found out about her fucking Kenny. "You're not hearing me, Kenny wants a girlfriend, today, right now. He wants meaning in whatever relationship he gets in," Rachel denied with a rather sympathetic look,

"But I feel something for him, I know I do," Nicole insisted, "I was freaking out all last night because he was outside, I-I...I'm losing my mind because he keeps ending up with other girls,"

"Nicole," Rachel weakly laughed, "Being upset that your friend is lost in a snowstorm where they could be killed, doesn't mean you're in love with them, it just means you actually care about their well being. You freaked out about Anna too, but that doesn't mean you want to date your best friend." Rachel explained, "And, about the jealousy thing, I think that's just because you found a guy who you enjoy hooking up with but he's not as obsessed with you,"

"What..." Nicole asked with a nearly depressed tone,

"Kenny likes you, I'm sure he does, you were his first time, you're his friend, and you're a beautiful young woman," Rachel walked over to Nicole and comfortingly placed her hands on her arms, "But when I talked to him, he wasn't shy about saying he hated how you'd yell and scream at him for making a drunken mistake but then you make a sober on in retaliation. Nicole, you fucked my brother out of spite, but you didn't really regret it because that's just who you are. You want Kenny to be your friends with benefits, and you're freaking out because each time he ends up with another girl, you don't know if that means he'll be done with you. You're in lust with Kenny, not love, sweetie,"

"I-I..." Nicole squeaked back while looking up at Rachel,

"You get angry when he fucks another woman, but you don't get hurt. You miss his dick more than you miss the guy," Rachel interrupted with a soft tone, "I'm not trying to say you could never feel something real for the guy, but right now, you're just being selfish, leading him on. Kenny thinks that you'll turn to him at some point this week and say, "Okay, Kenny, I'm ready. Let's starting dating!" But you won't, Nicole," Nicole silently stared up at the girl, feeling ashamed about how true what she was saying was, "I don't know you personally, but I know girls like you. It's okay to be casual with people, but you need to be fair and do it with the right kinds of people, Kenny's not the right kind."

"Oh god...I'm a fucking bitch..." Nicole whispered under her breath, "I just wanted Kenny to only want me,"

"But you were okay with it ending right there with him so you could continue to mess around freely," Rachel nodded, "It's just not going to happen that way, and if you're really his friend, then you should let him go." Rachel's eyes widened as Nicole suddenly pushed her face into her shoulder, Rachel felt the girls arms wrap around her back as she squeezed her tight, "Nicole, it really is okay to be this way, you don't have to feel bad about not wanting to commit,"

"It just feels so nice to have a guy who's not a piece of shit be with me for once," Nicole's muffled voice replied,

"I know, but you can find another guy like that who'll be up for something casual, it's just not going to be Ken," Rachel softly replied while patting the redhead's back. Nicole let out a few sniffs and took some short breaths as she slowly pulled her face away from Rachel's shoulder, "Don't worry, everything is going to be okay, Nikki,"

"Why did you even come in here to say all this?" Nicole softly asked while looking up into Rachel's deep blue eyes,

"Because, I gave Kenny some advice, and I feel I owe it to give some to you too. I don't think either one of you were at fault in what happened, it was just a real...miss match," Rachel smiled back, "Plus, you've been in some real turmoil because of that, and no ones really come to help you out," Suddenly Nicole's lips were pressed against Rachel's while her hands cupped onto the blondes plump, healthy ass.
