Find the main office.

Of all the options she considered, she concluded this was the best one. As of right now, she was dressed enough that all of her intimates were covered (Jessica would even say she was covering more skin than some other girls her age did during hot summer days). So, if she walked into the office right now, it would be pretty embarrassing, but she reckoned the staff would be receptive to help her out.

As for the problem with finding the right direction, Jessica figured that this school, like most others, probably had their main office in a large open area. If she circled around the hallways, she would probably find herself where she wanted.

With this in mind, Jessica headed off. Thanks to her dad’s wise thinking of arriving early, Jessica practically had the hallways to herself. Within a minute or two, she reached her destination: the school foyer.

She spotted the main office easily. As she was heading towards it, she noticed a table on the other side of the foyer. It read the words ‘lost and found’ and she could see it was piled high with clothes. She considered making a detour there first. That way she could be fully dressed and entirely skip her story about the elevator. She could call her dad from the office, head home and leave the incident as a little inside joke between themselves.
