"I don't know." You rubbed your neck not sure what to say.

"What do you mean?" Ash looked up at him with his sad puppy dog eyes.

"...We can't watch a movie without some popcorn."

Ash smiled at you as he bounced over to his side of the room and fished out a bag of popcorn from a small box under his bed. While Ash shifted through the box of snacks you texted Lois. [I'm sorry but I can't make it i promised my friend wed watch a movie] He sighed as Ash through the popcorn into the microwave.

No, no wink needed! You wanted to scream, you wanted to explain but Ash came back with a large bowl of popcorn in hand.

"Ready?" He sat on Mike's bed expectantly.

One movie turned into two, turned into a third before your stomach growled. Ash giggled and curled into you. Somehow, sitting on the opposite end of his bed during the first movie became sitting close together during the second, became Ash wrapping his your arm in his by the end of it. "Someone's making whale sounds." Ash giggled.

"Yeah, I guess popcorn isn't a stable food source."

"Nonsense, popcorn is the best. After ice cream. And candy. And pizza. Great now you got me hungry." He huffed as he sat up and almost immediately bending over to grab a box under his bed.

"I don't think that's a great place to keep things, otherwise you're going to be bending over any time you want something."

"That'd be oh so terrible!" The sarcasm was obvious as Ash giggled. "Let's go eat."

"Alright, let's go."

"No, not like that!"

"I wanna take you somewhere nice," his voice became low, for him anyway, and serious. "I wanna thank you for today, and also apologize."

"You don't need to-" His big doe eyes could really get you to do anything you realized. "Okay."

"Just give me ten minutes." You nodded, laying back down on his bed.

Fifteen minutes later a stunningly beautiful girl exited the shared bathroom. If you didn't know it was impossible you would've thought a girl snuck into your room. "Ash?"

"Sorry, it took so long." He was wearing one of his new skirts, a deep purple that ended mid-thigh and a wine red crop top and small wedge sandals giving him two more inches of height.

"Why are you dressed up like that?"

"I wanna take you somewhere nice." You sighed not wanting to be a slob by comparison you quickly changed. "You clean up nice." He took your hand in his and quickly led you to your car. He told you very little aside from which way to turn when you needed.

You arrived at a fairly secluded bar and grill, "It doesn't have a name?"

"I know right?" Ash got out excitedly and practically ran to the door, as you arrived you realized why. A few of the feminine looking boys from earlier were gathered around the door giggling with each other. Not far behind were guys you noticed from your own dorm. You nodded simply to them and received a nod in return, the standard guy greeting. A few of the guys were handsier than you'd expect with the boys. Though every one of them did look like a group of girls greeting each other. "That's a great idea!" Ash turned to you and the other guys, "What if we all got one big table?"
