“Not to freak you out, but someone called the office the other day and mentioned that Jeremy better scrounge up that money or else. Do you know anything about that? I decided a half truth would work for now. “What? What did they say?” Chelsea seemed pretty freaked out now, losing her sultry cool. “Not much, just that if business didn’t pick up, we wouldn’t be here for much longer. I tried getting Jeremy , but the guy said to not bother, he knows.” Chelsea looked deep in thought. “I mean, Jeremy mentioned it’d be nice if he could afford to expand and get more clients, but I didn’t realize it was so dire. Oh god Nate, what do we do?” Hmm, sounds like Chelsea isn’t quite aware of what Jeremy has been up to. But this could work. I’m not really “using” Chelsea, just kind of exploiting Jeremy. That’s it.
