Back at Manticore

Max was blindfolded, gagged, and her arms and legs bound as Lydecker's men moved her out of the police station. They threw her in the back of a van and drove off. Unable to see, talk or move Max laid there helpless as they drove through the night. It was atleast an hour of steady driving before they stopped. She felt hands on her body as they helped her stand before dragging her out of the van and into another building.

She was **** to sit, then her arms and legs were freed, but only for a moment as they were quickly strapped down to the chair. She could hear movement all around her, then it all stopped. Her blindfold was pulled off her face. The bright lights of the room blinding her, causing her to squint.

"Ummfp urr mffpt." she mumbled into her gag as looked at the blurred shape in front of her. Her eyes quickly adjusted to the bright lights revealing the blurry figure to be Lydecker. She looked the room over quickly, it was much cleaner then the room at the police station, it had a sterile lifeless feel to it. There was no mistaking she was back at a Manticore government facility.

Lydecker smiled at her. "You turned out quite beautiful" he said, as he leaned towards her, pushing a stray hair out of her face.

"Fummft Uff," she screamed into her gag as her head recoiled away from his touch. A flash of disappointment crossed Lydecker's face for a brief moment before his smile returned.

"We have a lot of catching up to do Max, so lets stop playing around and get down to business."
