Chapter 9
What do you do?
Nothing, He Causes The Tree To Fall
You try to think of something to do when you hear a cracking sound growing louder as the tree gradually tips forward. The orc realises this and stumbles back into the fighter, tripping over each other as he realises what is happening as well. You leap off the branch to land in a pile of shrubs. You watch the tree fall further as the orc and fighter frantically attempt to get up and out of the tree's path. The orc pushes away from the fighter and quickly crawls on his hands and knees out of the path. The fighter tries to get up but is stopped as the tree finally snaps completely from its base and crushes him beneath it like a bug.
A small bit of blood is slung from the smashing of his body and his armor breaks beneath the enormous weight. The only thing visible of him is a pool of blood and his right leg and arm. They don't stick around long as they turn into shards of light that shatter in the air and fade away. You feel energy swelling up in your chest once again, burning within your heart before letting the burn head to the end of your tail to your snout and everywhere in between but you don't hear the *Ding* that should come with it. Your body shifts once again, this time though you are left in a state of a sparkling glow all over your body. The burn doesn't leave you but only waits. You check your stats to see what's wrong.

1) WereSkunk: Cursed with the blood of the moon, you will become a large, powerful beast of lycanthropy that is as strong and menacing as it is horrible smelling. Gain abilities similar to that of the werewolf and boosted strength during night.
2) Skunkubus: Your heart is strong enough to draw strength from Hell itself, reforming your body to that of a demon and using your looks and stench against the minds of any man or woman you meet. Gain abilities similar to that of a succubus and the power to walk on two feet, speak, and wear player armor.
Well then, haven't seen anything like this before. And jumping so many levels to this, the fighter must have been a real pro. The orc is still getting up and the dwarf is rushing over to the blood of the fighter, setting his staff down against the tree and picking up a green potion from the satchel the fighter left behind and drinking it. A perfect time to choose which path to take. But which one would be better? It's all so much, and you didn't think you'd even last a minute after you left your den, now you have a big decision to make that could give a new form. Both seem to be powerful and either one would be an improvement.
Which do you choose?
