There's a difference between being brave and suicidal. If it is a raid I won't do much good by myself. I fly on towards the town.

As I land I can see a lot of guards and other adventurers armed to the teeth running around bolstering defenses and shouting out orders and requests. I look around the chaos to try and figure out where to go or who to even talk to. I see one guard that seems to be shouting more orders than anything so I run up to him.

"Excuse me?!" I shout over the noise of other soldiers shouting.

"What?!" He yells at me.

"I came to help. Where do you need people?" I ask looking around to see if I see anything obvious.

"How the hell would I know. So many of you adventurers have been showing up I can barely organize my own men." Sounds like this is just a dumping ground for other people trying to prove themselves.

"Look. You can either join the front lines at the gate. We've spotted orcs and tolls amassing in the northern forest and we'll need the bulk of the forces up there. We think their primary target is a person of interest inside the chapel, but pretty much all of our volunteers are up front. Hey! Keep those up there! Their for my archers you idiot!" I turn to see him yelling at what looks like a hunter carrying a bunch of quivers in his arms down from a tower and seems very confused as to why he can't have them. "I need to go." He says as he storms off to give him an earful.

So looks like I have a choice. If I want to prove myself above all these other idiots Maybe I should go on the front lines where I will see more action. My conscious is telling me that I should be better and give support where it is needed.
