The morning of Valentines Day was always entertaining. At least for the professors. By lunch time there had already been a dozen visitors to the nurse's ward. Two upper year witches managed to get themselves caught by a particularly perverted animated tree, a first year student somehow managed to make water explode in his face in Alchemy class, and another first year boy was instantly attacked by the imp he summoned in Intermediate Summoning. All in all fairly normal, what wasn't an everyday occurrence was the eight male students who have been sent to the nurse after being hexed by infuriated witches. Dueling in the hallways was strictly forbidden, but for some reason, perhaps due to the speed and one-sidedness of these 'duels,' teachers were far less likely to take action to stop it and instead just snickered at the victims.

Just to make the school feel even more busy and chaotic, Valentines day cards, provided by the Headmaster himself no less, soared through the air in the shape of oragami aircraft, each trying to reach their intended target. You dodge a pink biplane just as you were heading into your History of Arcane Warfare class, the intended sorceress picking up the card just after it crashes into her. A few seconds later you hear a screech of frustration from the back of the classroom and the distinctive sound of ripping paper. Add another one who will be visiting the nurse soon.

As the class began to wrap up, you couldn't help but overhear the conversation of two Phoenix girls in front of you.

"Poor Harmony has been harassed by so many cards today."

"I know right? It's like the boys in the school are only now realizing that she's hella hot."

"Must be after her little show in Advanced Psionics!" The two of the started giggling madly until they caught sight of your glare behind them. They quickly left the classroom after that.

That brought up a problem that you have been pushing back for several days now. You still haven't sent out your own valentine's day card yet, and without sending one out, you will not be able to secure a date for the dance that evening. You begin to ponder the possibilities. Sophie Hawke was the obvious choice. The two of you have been having sex regularly now, and she shows no sign of getting bored with you, if anything she seems to be even more obsessed after every single nightly session of love-making. There was also Parisa, you have not entirely forgotten your attraction to her, and if everything else fails at least you'll be able to convince her to go as your friend. Finally there was Harmony, taking her to the ball will undoubtedly cause a riot, but you're pretty sure she won't say yes. There was also a possibility of missing the dance altogether because she hexed you into the next life.
