"Oh la la, did Mr. 108 finally get himself a girlfriend?" Keira batted her eyelashes at the two of you as you sat down. "So who's the pretty little redhead that managed to entrance the most powerful wizard of our generation?"

"Oh stop teasing her, can't you see the poor thing is flustered?" Liam interjected and looked at you with a grin of approval. Out of the corner of your eye you noticed that Parisa was frowning, although you couldn't quite tell what was bothering her.

"You know, I always thought that it would be Parisa who got to you first." Keira fired her a knowing smirk, but Parisa only seemed to get more annoyed.

"Sophie and I are just friends who are getting to know each other better." You felt that it wasn't time to lock any one girl down just yet. Both Keira and Liam's eyebrows rose significantly, meanwhile you feel Sophie shift uncomfortably.

"What, did you miss dinner last night?" Liam pointed at the massive amount of food on your plate.

"Yeah actually, Hallgrave had me practicing pretty intensely and I fell asleep as soon as I got back into my room."

"Ah," Liam said, obviously not believing you.

"So did you hear about the preparations for the Valentine's day dance? Apparently they're going all out this year." This was the first time that Sophie spoke up, and although Parisa seemed to ignore her, Keira immediately began to talk excitedly with her about what she planned to do during the dance. Just then, the temperature in the dining hall seemed to drop a couple degrees as a small group of Phoenix students walk into the dining area. To your dread, they were led by none other than Harmony Ashcroft.
