It's a Girl

You arrive at the maidservant's quarters where the other maidservants are attending to Angelika and one acts as her midwife. "Sire!" the maidservants bowed.

"My King, you came?" Angelika says. She is sweaty, her brow moist in sweat. "Please forgive me for having sent one of your servant to summon you like a commoner." Her breathing was labored.

You move pass the other servants and take Angelika's hand. She holds on to you dearly. "Are you allright, Angelika?"

Angelika answers, "I'm fine, Sire. I just... I just want our child to be born." You stroke her hair, "You're going to be fine, Angelika."

Angelika's contractions start up again and her grip tightens painfully. "You're doing fine, Angelika" says the maidservant turned midwife. Angelika struggles and squirms. Her screams of pain are ear-piercing and deafening. "It's crowning, Angelika. Just a little more." says the midwife.

You look at Angelika, her face filled with pain and exhaustion. Her eyes shifts at you, almost begging you to free her of her pain. You stare so deeply into her eyes that it comes as a total shock when you ears pick up the sound of a baby crying. Coming from between Angelika's thighs in the careful arms of the midwife was a moist, pink wailing baby. "It's a girl," says the midwife. The baby's umbilical cord lead back down into her mother.

You find it absolutely incredible. Nine months ago, that baby was just seed you spilled inside Angelika's womanhood. Now... now it's a baby, a baby girl. "Is the baby...?" Angelika pants, "Is the baby okay?"

"Don't you hear that, Angelika? That crying? That's our baby. She's fine. She's healthy."

Angelika closes her eyes, "I'm glad." She was so tired. The midwife cuts the umbilical cord. "Would you like to hold your daughter, Sire?" The midwife offers you the baby. "Yes, please." You take the baby from her and hold her. She soon calms down and stops crying. "She knows her father." Angelika remarks.

"Excuse me, Sire." calls the midwife, "the afterbirth should come out soon so please don't be disturb when you see it." You nod, "Thank you. Thank you so much for seeing to the birth of my child." The midwife smiles at you, "Come on, girls. Let's leave this new family alone."

"Hey there, little one. I'm your father." You coo to the newborn with wet eyes. This is your child. "Angelika, thank you. You've given me a beautiful baby girl. Um, here. I think you want to hold her two." You hand the baby over to her mother. "Oh God, she's perfect." Angelika remarks happily. "Hey you. You kept me waiting for nine months. Then you give me a whole lot of trouble, you cost me so much. But you know what, mother loves you so much and I'll always love you. And your father..." Angelika turns to you, "you'll love her too, right?"

You smile at the mother of your child and surprise her by kissing her on her lips. Angelika returns the kiss soon after her shock subsides. She smiles brightly after you break the kiss. "She's my daughter. I love her already."

"Sire, am I... am I your mistress now?"

"I prefer the term concubine but the answer is no. You are a mother of my child." You state. Angelika then asks, "What if I want to give our child a full-blooded sibling?"

"When you're ready for that, tell me. I'll happily put another child inside you. So what are we naming her?"

Angelika raises her eyebrow, "You're asking me, my King?"

"Of course. You're her parent too." Angelika thinks it over and after a while she comes up with a name. "Anna. How does Anna sound?"

"Anna sounds good." You agree with her. "Sire, may I humbly ask the father of my child to kiss me?" You answer by kissing her again.
