Her clothes turn invisible

Instead of answering, Sandra burst out laughing as though Fiora had accidentally cast Hideous Laughter on her again.

"What?" Fiora asked. "Did it go wrong? Do I look weird?"

Sandra continued to laugh helplessly and simply pointed.

Fiora frowned and looked at her hand. It didn't look different, it wasn't purple or anything, but most illusions affected everyone but the target. Her arm was fine, too, with smooth, fair skin (she didn't spend much time in the sun). But … hold on. What happened to her sleeve? She had been wearing a loose mage's robe a moment ago …

"Eek!"

Looking down, she saw that all of her clothes had disappeared, and she had been flaunting her full frontal nudity to her best friend since she cast the spell. She turned, hoping that her nude profile would be more decent, and covered herself with her hands, but she felt fabric. Of course! She hadn't made her clothes disappear, she had made them invisible. That would explain why she didn't feel naked because she wasn't.

She just looked that way.

"Stop laughing!" Fiora demanded. "And stop looking!"

Sandra managed to stop laughing, but she didn't look away. "Sorry," she said, catching her breath. "But you were all like" (she put her hands on her hips and thrust out her sizable chest) "'What's wrong? Did it work?'"

"It _almost _did," Fiora said, coming to terms with the fact that she was both naked and clothed at the same time. (Basically, it was like being naked, only much warmer.) "I just … cast the spell on my clothes instead of myself." Her almost successes were often worse than her complete failures.

"Really? So you're wearing invisible clothes?" Sandra put her hand on her friend's back and felt her robes. "Wow, it's just like that story where someone sold invisi-clothes to an emperor and no one called him out on it."

"Yeah, I heard that story too," Fiora said, "and I am not going outside naked like this."

"But it would be an amazing prank," Sandra mused. "Someone would be standing there, minding their own business, and then you could turn their clothes invisible. We should try it on Bianca!"

"Sure," Fiora said. "But first we need to figure out what to do about me!"

She could just wait until the spell wore off. Invisibility only lasted a few minutes, and she'd be fine unless someone came in. She could try to find something else to wear, but she didn't see much she could use besides the drapes. Of course, if magic got her into this mess, maybe magic could get her out. She had the spell Dispel Magic memorized, and though she had never cast it before, it wasn't like it could make her situation worse.
