When your character levels up, you're awarded with a small amount of SP and CP, these two stats can be spent on upgrading your characters base stats.

SP - which stands for Skill Points can be spent on the following stats:
Strength
Agility
Speed
Intelligence
Wisdom
Luck

This increases your characters base stats and can also direct your characters growth towards specific evolutions that will benefit your playstlye, so spending your points wisely is highly advised - SP's are non refundable!

CP - which stands for Class Points can be spent on class specific skills and abilities that you can carry on through to evolution variants that otherwise cannot obtain them naturally

As the list of unlockable skills and abilities are unique to your class, you'll have to navigate through your character menus to view them for yourself.

Equipment Tab

The equipment tab is where you can equip armors, weapons and items to add bonus stats to your character, clothing item slots in the equipment menu almost always have an armor value to them while weapon slots almost always have a damage value as well as potentially unlocking new skills and/or abilities while equipped.
