Due to the new update, the game is now Version 5.01356a34, and has a new 'Employment' function!

When a player defeats a monster in combat, there is a very small chance that before so, they get a special panel for a 100% of recruiting the monster! This is extremely rare, and may happen up to only three times in one character playthrough!

From slimes, to dragons, to even the final's boss's right hand monster! As long as this panel shows up, you can recruit them like you would use a familiar scroll, but 100% and free!

Well, it seems like they're your 'employees' now, so to speak. Looking at their eyes, staring confusedly at blank air in front of them, you have a feeling they might not be liking what they see.

Game Lore: Victor Cross and Nike Davids

If Marie Cruento is the right-hand woman to Ardenter, then Victor Cross and Nike Davids are his enforcers. A duo of a berserker and an elementalist, they are a pair of powerful players, acting as Ardenter's personal bodyguards, and the cashiers to his shop. Complementing each other's weaknesses while heightening their strengths, they are known as the 'Blade of Hunger' and the 'Starving Flames' respectively.

Victor is noted to be brash and easily angered, but shows a large amount of knowledge in electronics and mechanics. He is known to apply said knowledge in-game to create weapons that have both elements of the ancient and modern world. His most noted piece of equipment is a unique silver blade he crafted, seemingly made entirely of clockwork, which is seemingly called 'Father Time's Corpse'.

Nike is confident and passionate to a fault, as shown by her enthusiasm in coding and software development. She may have possibly exploited backdoors and loopholes in an attempt to further strengthen her character, but acts as a 'white hat' and points them out to development. Her most noted piece of equipment is her staff, an ordinary 'Diseased Wood Stave' enhanced to the point of being allowed to be named. It is known as 'Plague Doctor'
