Seek help from a spellcaster

If the artifact was in possession of the High Lord, then it most likely wasn’t just another magical item. Nearly every magical object the High Lord had was special – there were only a few exceptions, all of them given to him as part of some poor soul’s late payment. The object her friend Ivy desired so badly could be one of the few that were not really special… but the odds of that being the case were so low they were practically non-existent. Besides, if the object really was nothing special then Ivy would have been able to buy it from the High Lord, albeit for a very high price. Since she had instead asked Lillian to steal it for her it was safe to assume that the object was indeed special and valuable, and the High Lord would spend a considerable amount of resources to get it back should anyone be able to steal it – in other words the unlucky thief would be in serious trouble. So before all else Lillian needed to know what exactly she was dealing with here – and the best way to find out was to ask someone who deals with magic. This was both the easiest and the most reliable way to learn what she wanted. Simply asking around would take a while and did not guarantee a success, not to mention that it could get her in trouble.

Lillian considered her options.

Firstly, she could go and ask at a temple. The best choices she could think of were:
-the “temple” of Slustya, Goddess of Lust and Whores. It was actually a brothel, and the priestesses there would most certainly **** her to have sex with someone in addition to whatever other price they would ask. However they would most certainly know of any phallus-shaped artifact…
-the temple of Aphera, Goddess of Love. It was a place Lillian had never visited, and in fact knew very little about it apart from its location. Maybe the few priestesses that were taking care of it would know of the phallus-shaped artifact. Or maybe they would be insulted that she would ask them about such a thing – Lillian really didn’t know what to expect…
-the temple of Glaron the Wise, God of Wisdom – one of the largest temples in the city. It also had one of the largest libraries in the city, and all priests and priestesses of Glaron were supposed to be very wise, so they would probably know about the object of Ivy’s desire

Secondly, there were several magical colleges Lillian could go to. Three of them were most promising:
-the first was for men only, so by using her body she would probably be able to get the information she needed. But there was no telling how many magicians she would be **** to have sex with, or what perverted things they would make her do…
-the second was for women only – maybe if she played her cards right the sorceresses there would be willing to help a woman in need… or maybe she would end up in the hands of a lesbian looking for a new lover…
-the third was for both men and women, so it offered the advantages of the first two… but also the disadvantages of both…

Thirdly, there were a few spellcasters who offered their services to anyone who could pay their price. Three came to Lillian’s mind right away:
-Nyarra - a young half-orc shamaness. Supposedly beautiful (especially for a half-orc) and wise, maybe she would know about the artifact… But what price would she ask?
-Elviora the witch – a full-blooded elf, maybe she would be willing to help a half-elf like Lillian… but some of the rumors about her were disturbing, to say the least. Hopefully they were nothing more than rumors…
-the mermaid Mehra – a mermaid living in the lake not far from the city. Or so the rumors claimed. Lillian had no idea if there was any truth in them, and Mehra was not easy to find… if she existed at all…
