Chapter 16 by Redchopster

What's next?

Continue

To absolutely nobody's surprise, there was a lot of bickering and yelling.

"Why don't you watch where you're going?!"

"Why do you feel the need to camp outside my door?!

"I wasn't expecting you to SLAM it open like that!"

"Why were you standing a foot away from it in the first place?"

"Well, MAYBE if you'd shut up for a moment, I'd tell you!"

"You were the one that yelled first!"

"Yeah, because you HIT me!"

"Because you were sitting in front of the door!!"

"Look..." Sakuya says. "Just come and meet me in the theater after lunch, okay?"

"Why?" You respond. Sakuya looked like she was about to kill you. You would have been startled, if it hadn't been the fiftieth time. She opened her mouth, and then shut it again. Finally, at long last, she spoke.

"Because. I. LIKE. You. May..."

...

It was right after lunch. Sakuya's words still floated about in your head. Did she actually like you? Was she just being difficult? Whatever the case, you didn't feel the same. Curiosity and boredom had been the only reasons you agreed to meet her. Well, it was more like you had walked away silently. But you hadn't refused her, and that was the important thing, right?

You push open the doors of the mess hall, and enter the main hall. You walk past a pair of whispering women, and straight across the hall to the theater. It was dark inside. Nevertheless, you spotted Sakuya in the far back, with a bucket of popcorn and a massive stack of paper. You shrug your shoulders, and sit down next to her. She hands you a note she had handwritten. You read it.

"First of all, ONLY COMMUNICATE THROUGH WRITING." It reads.

"DO NOT SPEAK ABOUT THIS. WE ARE BEING LISTENED TO." You make a confused face and stare at Sakuya. She seems completely serious.

"First of all, let me just state that what I said earlier WAS A LIE. I hate you, May. I would never go out on an actual date with you. However, you're my last hope. I cannot trust anyone else. So for the time being, we are going to pretend to be lovers!"

You crumple up the note and toss it on the ground. You don't even finish reading it. You stand up, and start walking away when Sakuya grabs your wrist and mutters threateningly under her breath.

"Sit... DOWN... And FINISH it..."

Begrudgingly, you sit back down and open the crumpled paper back up.

"Alex has microphones and hidden cameras all over the Maiden's Hall. The theater hasn't got any cameras due to the dim light and the pool doesn't have any mics due to the echoing water. Even our rooms and the bathrooms have these things.

I found a book in the library that had been written in by a person named Mai. [Mai Shiranui, Fatal Fury] She wasn't the Mai we know, but a different Mai. She was a prisoner here six years ago, judging by the date. Things aren't what they seem here, May. We need to work on busting out ASAP."

"Here." Sakuya says and hands you a book. The cover is dark green and it reads "A guide to the female anatomy" in dull, golden letters. A memory comes back to you...

"We take young men like you and use our machine here to turn them into some of the most iconic women in fiction. Games, Tv shows, Movies, Anime... As long as they're an animated female character, we can create them. We've done Asuka, Lara Croft, Tifa, Samus... LOTS of Samus's... You name it, we'll turn someone into them."

Alex's words rang loud in your ears. It was such an important piece of information, you couldn't believe you'd forgotten about it... If there had been multiple girls of a certain kind, why had you only ever seen one? That thought should have crossed your mind immediately! Had Alex done something to you? You shake that thought off temporarily and begin to read.

As you read, it became apparent that Sakuya wasn't playing some kind of trick on you. Things really did seem sinister about the Fetish Factory. Well, more than what you had previously thought.

People had started going missing every year, around August. It was currently June, so it wouldn't happen for about two months, but you didn't have any doubt that it would start up again soon. Eventually, everyone would disappear from the Maiden's Hall. As for the building, it had been here way longer than you had originally thought.

You turned the page and kept reading Mai's notes.

She told of the "outer rooms". Supposedly, the maiden's hall was in the center of this huge laboratory complex. The outer rooms consisted of staffing chambers, hallways, traps, observation rooms, transformation rooms, experimentation labs, holding cells, doctor's rooms, and more. Mai spoke of the "yellow" rooms. These were the rooms that only Alex and the Yellows were permitted to enter. Supposedly, these rooms held the experimental girls that refused Alex, but she didn't know what exactly lay within due to other color staff not being permitted inside.

Speaking of staff, Mai goes on to say that the staff are actually more in control of themselves than they appear, but choose to remain ignorant out of fear of an even worse transformation that they refuse to speak of. The only exception to this is are the Yellows, who can think freely, but cannot act freely in the slightest.

Mai also spoke of Alex's secrets. Supposedly, she was a Futanari. A girl with a dick that spanned about two feet long. It was rumored that she would also personally fuck her favorite residents from time to time, then brainwash those memories out of their head.

But most interestingly of all, Mai spoke of the Factory's one weakness, but also it's greatest danger. The unlit dungeon. Supposedly, the maiden's hall was only the first of it's kind. There were plans to expand in the future, and three more halls, all with their own labs surrounding them, lay below. They weren't currently being used by maidens, but they were supposedly being used. Alex's more **** experiments, had been released into the dungeon's halls, where they made their lairs.

"I don't know much else about the unlit dungeon." Mai writes. "I know that those who ventured down there never made it back. But... I also know that from the building plans we smuggled out from the lab's personal library, it's our only hope. For way at the very bottom of the dungeon, there's the backup control room and generator. If someone were to get to that, we'd gain control over the entire factory. We'd be able to lock Alex and her guards in their rooms, and we'd finally be able to take the elevator to freedom.

It's risky, but it's a risk I must take. I must escape, or who knows what will happen to me? I'm taking the building pans and I'm headed down to the dungeon. If you're reading this... Then I must have failed. I wish you luck, whomever you are. You may choose to stay and disappear with the others, and I can't blame you for that. But... If you wish to follow in my footsteps and attempt to free everyone, then turn to the next page."

You flip the page. Your eyes widen in shock. An entire replica of the building plans is drawn out on a blank page. It shows every room in the building with detail. The entrance to the dungeon was highlighted in red. In performance room #24, there was an air vent. This vent connected to the level below that. The same vent was present on all the floors, down to the point where you could reach the control room by stairs.

You close the book, and grab a piece of paper.

"So what do we do?" You write.

"We need to come up with a plan to escape this place." She writes back. "I hate to say this, but we're going to have to meet often to share information. And in order to avoid suspicion, we're going to go under the guise of dating lovers."

You groan. The last thing you wanted was to spend more time with the nasty Sakuya. You and her had quite the reputation at this point, so if you started dating, the amount of attention you'd receive would be astronomical...

"C'mon sweetie, it's only for a short time..." Sakuya says.

"I don't like this any more than you do, but you're the only one I can trust." She writes.

"You're the only person that hates this place enough to the point where you wouldn't betray me."

"How do YOU know?" You write back. "Wouldn't I betray you even easier if I don't like you?"

"Trust me, I know. It's the kind of person you are."

You groan again. She was, for once, absolutely right. As much as you hated her, You hated Alex to an incredible degree. You would do anything to get back at her for what she did. Even if it meant weeks of humiliation as Sakuya's 'girlfriend'.

The two of you agreed that you would spend time with one another at least 2 hours a day. You also agreed to relay any and all information you could find about the history of the Factory to each other.

However, for now, you had other matters to attend to. 10:00 eventually rolled around, and you were standing at the door of the performance hallway.
