You slowly make your way down the ruined hallway. Every now and then, you hear sounds coming from one of the side rooms. You don't dare to peek inside without reason.

Your heart beats loudly. Sweat pours down your naked body. Suddenly, you hear the sound of something coming down the hallway. You duck into a dark empty side room, hide against the wall, and watch.

Slithering down the hallway is one of Alex's experiments, a dark-skinned woman with brown hair and a ponytail. She has a pretty muscular build, and medium-sized breasts, at least by the factory's standards. However, her lower half is that of a giant snake. It's red with a yellow body, and trails about 20 feet in length behind her. She's completely naked aside from a hairband holding up her ponytail, and you can see a large slit on her front where her snake body begins. [Korra, Legend of Korra]

You hold your breath as she passes. She doesn't seem to notice you. You wait until she's out of view, and then exhale. After waiting a few minutes to ensure she isn't returning, you step out of the room and continue your trek.

After a few more minutes, you turn a corner. At the end of the hallway, you see an intersection. A hallway to the right, a hallway to the left, and a dark room straight ahead. Sitting on the floor of the dark room, just barely visible, is the book you were looking for. You walk up to the intersection.

Nobody appears to be around. Not Weiss, not anyone else that might have found the book. You don't see any monsters nearby, and the book would be invaluable to helping you on your search. Without it, you might get lost, and run into trouble.
