Crawl down the vent

You shuffle your way through the vent. The vent is made out of cold steel plating, is only about 2 feet high, and 3 feet wide at some parts. You're **** to wriggle your way through, the cold steel pressing up against your naked body. Carrying the knife only makes the process slower, as you need to take care to not cut yourself.

After a long, miserable 45 minutes of crawling, you see a dim light at the end. You pop out into a small room, connected to all kinds of doors and hallways. You appear to be in one of the outer labs. You need to make your way to room #24, and find the vent leading down to the next floor.

The room is dimly lit, as are the hallways. You clutch your knife in your hand, and swallow. This was it. If you were to save everyone from a horrible fate as slaves, you would have to succeed where so many others failed. The only problem was, you didn't know WHY they failed. You needed to overcome that obstacle. Winry had sacrificed herself for you. If you fell here, she'd be transformed into one of Alex's experiments for sure. She might have been purchased, but there was no way Alex would let her off so easily. Failure, was not an option for you.

You look down at the ground. There were a few sets of clothing scattered about. You assumed that Alex's experiments sometimes sat in wait here for maiden's to come down the shaft. You thanked the stars you were not one of these maidens.

Then you noticed a very familiar set of clothes. A white crop-top and a short black skirt. Tifa's simple clothes. Her bright red bra and panties lay strewn about as well. You winced. You didn't know how to feel about Tifa's defeat. Obviously, you had known that she must have been defeated down here, otherwise you'd all be free, but that was besides the point. She had betrayed Athena, and as a result, she had betrayed you, but you didn't feel as though she deserved to fall victim to one of the experiments. You have a moment of silence for her, before returning to the task at hand.

You didn't feel like wearing clothes would help you. It'd just give experiments something to grab onto. So you decided to continue your adventure commando.

You looked around the room. There were two ways to go. Left, and right.

To your left, there was a fairly empty hallway. The lights were flickering, and you spotted an overturned plant pot. The floor appeared to be well-worn, suggesting that many things had come and gone this way.

To your right, there was another lit hallway. It was well lit and completely empty, aside from a few strange articles of clothing. The floor appeared to be only slightly worn out.
