Home and a note

You ride back to the school, your mind still whirling with what you've learned, and what it might mean. You wonder how much your CO knows, but hasn't told you, and you wonder if you should reach out to him and report.

Probably not, you tell yourself as you park the bike in the garage. At least not yet, not until you have a more complete story and some answers. He wanted to you bring discipline to Pink Rose, and while you've taken a first few steps, you haven't accomplished much. You're mulling over the events of the day and what your next steps should be when you see a folded paper taped to your door, and a small bag on the floor.

Curious, wondering if this is another cartoon, you pull it off and open it to find a message from Nurse Wulf.

"Good evening Dean Hawkfeather, I dropped by after dealing with Miss Cummins, but you weren't in. Sorry that we missed having coffee together. Depending on what time you return, perhaps we could have a glass of something. If it's not too late, tap on my door. Sincerely, Madison Wulf."

You look at your watch, and find that it's shortly before ten. She didn't say what "too late" meant, but you could always apologise and leave if she's tired. You glance down the hall in the direction of her room, as you weigh talking to the pretty nurse, or getting some sleep after your hectic day.
