Chapter 19 by gorel29 gorel29

What's next?

Days later, the Avengers arrive after tracking She-Hulk's gamma energy.

With two weeks having gone by and still no word from Jen, the Avengers who had taken notice of her absence went through all the safety measures. After calling up or visiting her apartment, her law office, and her favorite drinking hole, they decided to pursue additional means once all of Jen's usual spots had no answer to her whereabouts. With a Gamma Geiger counter handy, Miss Marvel, Wasp, Scarlet Witch and Hawkeye piled into one of their smaller Quinjet's and took to the Atlantic, tracing the nearest reading of Gamma radiation out from the city.

To Carol's later profound regret, she did not bother calling for backup, or even posting where she and the others were heading off to. Even if Jen got herself kidnapped, Carol's confidence in her teammate's ability assured her they would all be flying back to the city later that day, no harm no foul.

The craft flew deeper and deeper into the ocean's span, and Clint began to slump in his seat and folded his hands behind his head.

"We're sure this is Jen the tracker's picking up?" he asked. "Not Bruce, or anyone else?"

The Quinjet was on a super-smooth cruise control, but Carol kept a firm hand on the craft's controls all the same. "Well, for one, Bruce is out in Vegas doing a lecture right now," Carol answered, staring intent into the horizon ahead of them and not even bothering to turn towards Clint. "And second, the only one who's really in the habit of making more Gamma folk is Leader, and he's locked up."

"We sure about that?"

"Well, unless the little nerd was able to throw together an LMD of himself and slip his big-ass head out of the Vault," Carol chuckled. Her amusement faded when she was met with silence, cursed herself for not calling up the Vault on the matter before they headed out.

"Hmh. Y'know, sometimes I wish there were more Jens in the world," Janet giggled, cozying herself up on the end of the cockpit opposite Clint. "One time, I spent a whole week helping her put together a wardrobe that would fit her size. That'd be a great project, if there was a whole 'Team Hulk,' with bestie and fashionista Janet Van Dyne to whip up their costumes."

"Do people like Jen even really even need costumes?" Clint asked. "Banner's got those pants with the damn-near unbreakable waistline, and I'm pretty sure Jen spent a little while showing up to battle in her workout tights."

"Uh, yeah! And who do you think picked out those tights for her?"

The Geiger Counter suddenly started to _bleep, _and the Quinjet made a subtle clockwise turn as it spend closer to the reading, clicking more and more rapidly with every new second. Sitting closest to the counter, Wanda leaned down towards the console and blinked.

"Uh, guys?" she asked out loud, reaching out to tap the surface of the counter. "When this thing finds something, shouldn't there be just one dot?"

"Never had the pleasure of going out Hulk hunting, but I'd reason that's how the thing should be working," Carol said, noticing an island slowly coming up ahead. "Why, is there more than one, or something?"

The arrow in the counter was clicking like it would come off its pin at any second. Wanda nodded, her eyes remained glued to the monitor above it.

"More like...thirty dots."

Clint finally sat up in his seat. "Crap. Did I snatch a faulty Geiger counter?"

“Yeah. I mean, thirty?" Janet scoffed. "I don't think I've ever seen more than five Hulks at a time. And I'm counting Rick and Leonard with that."

Her teammates continued to gawk and guffaw, but Carol furrowed her brow and pinched her lip together. She skipped through so many precautions, rested on her laurels, now she might be leading her friends into some sort of Gamma cult, or something she could only hope of escaping herself, let alone anyone that sat behind her. But Carol's pride held her back from opening up about these worries, or even turning back into the city and planning over. If shit ends up hitting the fan, Carol would get all her friends out of there. She knew she could.

"Whatever's going on, let's play it safe," Carol spoke up, turning off the cruise control and gently guiding the chevron-shaped jet down toward the island's shore. "Who knows, maybe Jen is just out here, still working through the world's worst hangover. Don't wanna piss off a Hulk, right?"

The Quinjet settled right outside the edge of the beach's lapping waters. Carol let the way into the wilds, with Wanda taking the rear. To Carol's relief, Janet went along with her directive to be the one to do an areal sweep of the area and not question why Carol just couldn't do it.

"Seeing anything, Jan?" she asked through an earpiece. She, Wanda and Clint were heading on foot towards a few trace pillars of smoke that were coming up from deeper within the island.

_Yeah, After a while, the plants thin out, and the ground looks rough like everything was torn out. It's like a hurricane happened _inside the island, but never touched the beaches. It's crazy.

Soon enough, Carol and the others found what Janet was talking about. Whole tree trunks and shrubbery pulled right out of the earth.

Wait, hold on, guys. I'm seeing some sort of clearing up ahead. I think I...w-wait...

"Jan?" Carol asked, tapping her earpiece.

Wh...what the f-fuck is...whu-what the fuck!"

"Carol, check this out!" Clint whispered, breaking Carol out from her growing panic. She floated over to Clint and Wanda, huddling themselves up towards the treeline that ran the edge of the clearing Janet had mentioned. The area ahead of them looked more like an industrial quarry than a deserted island, its surroundings stripped clean of greenery and leaving only a broad expanse of pale dirt and rocks stretching for several miles. But what filled the area was what was the most alarming.

There right in front of them were… Hulks!

Dozens of them sat around and roamed the area. They were a mix of the classic green, but some were instead a bright red with coal-black hair. None wore a stitch of clothing to hide their colorful bodies, most of which were women. Two massive firepits were built that they were amassing in. Child-sized Hulks playfully wrestled, men held boars up by the massive fires, women cracked coconuts and sharpened rocks. To all their shock, some of them were openly screwing each other, grunting and kicking sand several feet into the air.

"Ohhh, fuck..." Clint muttered, hurriedly double-checking in his memory just what kind of arrows he had brought with him.

"Janet, abort mission," Carol stressed quietly into her earpiece before addressing Clint and Wanda. "We need to leave asap, we need to get back to the city, reconvene—"

Suddenly, all three of them were knocked off their feet when a cratering **** shook the ground only a few years behind them. Carol threw her body around and whipped her hair out of the war, watching the dust clear to reveal one of the red-skinned She-Hulks...and the biggest one out of the lot. Rising upright, she had to have been eight or nine feet, with thick black hair that trailed down and matched almost half of that towering height. Carol heard the naked she-beast chuckle menacingly, emitting a deepness in her tone that made Carol's jaw clench.

"Heh. Bout time you show up—"

On instinct, Carol closed the gap between herself and their attacker and launched her high into the air with a mighty uppercut.

"Carol!" Wanda cried.

"I'm the only one who could've handled her!" Carol barked back.

"Yeah, sure. Thanks, Carol," Clint with angry sarcasm. "But did you forget there's more than—"

Clint cut himself off once he and the rest once they heard what sounded like an elephant's stamped shake the ground beneath them. Carol stepped forward, fists clenched and ready. Wanda drew out her arms, her hands quickly enveloped in the aura of her crimson hex magic. Clint readied three smoke arrows, making the call the best he could do was blind a few of these knuckleheads enough for them to stagger back. Following a warp in the air, the three found Janet back among them at full-size. Unlike the others, she was not assuming a battle-ready stance. While Carol and Wanda kept looking forward, Clint glanced over at Janet, and saw her face completely disheveled in awe and horror.

The horde of green and red giants suddenly halted their advancement on the heroes following a fierce grunt that came from behind all of them, loud enough to come over their stomping feet and own angry growls. They slowed to a stop, then cleared out. Miles out, the red giantess from before crashed into the mountain deeper within the island, but none of the heroes paid that any mind, all of them instead engrossed on the sole She-Hulk that slowly, in an almost cocky step, approached them.

Easily eight feet tall and built like bulldozer with tits, the jade Amazonian goddess' covering only had a a few bone necklaces around their necks, arms and legs and a few braided into their ankle long hair. Powerfully built, she possessed curves that would have rivaled a sports car, let alone any woman back on the mainland. She had long, powerful legs, broad meter-wide hips and breasts that would have required a bra with letters on the far end of the alphabet to contain. Tossing her mane of hair out of her eyes, the green skinned one stood before the four surprised heroes with a predatory gleam in her eyes.

“J-JEN?!” Janet spat incredulously.

Snorting at the name, the green giantess raised her chin in offense, her hands at her hips and her massive chest thrust out. “SHULK! Me Shulk, Queen of the green skins.”

She raised up a ceremonial-looking club, a gnarled tree trunk, and let out a triumphant growl. The Hulks that surrounded her and the heroes roared and beat their chests in unison. The heroes remained painfully still, uncertain whether they had a fight to anticipate—one that any of them could hope to survive.

Within moments, Betty hopped back to the clearing after only a few mighty leaps from her impact site in the mountain. She easily mingled her way through the horde, revealing herself to match Jen's height and hold at least a whole head over even the tallest of males.

"Shulk strong, Red Shulk strong! We make strong tribe." she boasted, her yellow eyes glowing menacingly.

“Whu—what is this?” Hawkeye sputtered. "Who's idea was it to form Muscle Beach meets Burning Man in the middle of the Atlantic?!"

"Tribe is Shulk's children!" Jen shouted, pausing to bump chests with Betty excitedly. "Red Shulk's children! We breed strong, mighty tribe!"

Blinking in surprise, Janet looked around to find herself surrounded by a couple dozen naked hulks, she had to divert her eyes from staring at the big green traffic pylons the male hulks had aiming towards her. Shaking her head, she let out what was confusing her the most out of this entire ordeal.

“Its… Its… Its only been two FUCKING WEEKS!!!”

“Jan…” Hissed Wanda, waving her red gloved hands to the distraught Wasp to tell her silently to calm down while the Hulks were glaring down at them.

“NO SERIOUSLY! ITS ONLY BEEN TWO WEEKS AND YOU WENT FROM FINISHING UP A CASE BACK IN TOWN TO… THIS!” Waving her hands in front of her, she gestured to the tribal green goddess Jennifer Walters had turned herself into. “I mean REALLY, what the FUCK happened?!” Caught off guard she found herself hoisted up by the front of her costume by an upset Shulk, the green giantess flaring her nostrils and glaring at her former friend.

“You want know what happened? THIS happened!” Reaching out with both arms, Shulk snatched up Wasp like a petulant child and shoved her face first into one of her tits. The act shocking her friends as she grinned down at the woman muffling out cries of protest while flooding her **** open mouth with her mother's milk. "This happened! Shulk grew big! Shulk grew strong! Stronger than puny humans and puny little BUG girl!"

Tossing her back down to the ground where Wasp tumbled and rolled onto her back, Janet coughed and spat out the warm liquid in her mouth while Hawkeye gathered her up to stand and lean against him while the others stepped forward to deal with the horde of Hulks.

"Avengers! Take them ou..."

"RED SHULK SMASH!!!" Roared the red skinned giantess as she raised her fists over her head and slammed them down over Carol's crossed arms, guarding the strike but only just barely as a small crater formed under her feet trying to block the powerful strike. Scarlet Witch took to the air and waved her arms in a spell, encasing them all in a protective energy shell that pushed the Red Shulk away. Very quickly, one attacker became a dozen when the rest of the tribe attacked the energy bubble, slamming fists against its surface with the **** to cause tremors throughout the island.

"Jen! This isn't you, you have to fight it!"

"Queen Shulk NOT Jen! That the point! But Queen Shulk WILL fight you!" Growled the green skinned ogre woman, punching and smashing against the barrier and causing Wanda to gasp as she quickly found her will overwhelmed. "Queen Shulk strongest there is!!!"

Looking around and still holding the diminutive woman to his side, Clint looked around and found them all in a bad spot. There were no exits and so far Wanda looked like she was going to run out of steam keeping a dozen hulks off of them. "So Carol, got us a plan because not all my arrows are Hulk busters."

"I can blast'em! Maybe give us a second spare time to get to the jet. Jan? Can you hear me?"

Shaking her head and feeling dizzy, the Wasp looked up to see her friends look worried back at her. "Y-yeah?"

"Can you shrink us down to the size of flies and hitch us a ride back to the jet when Wanda drops the shield?"

"Yeah..." Slipping free of Clint's arm, Janet felt her strength return... And then multiply. Her eyes going wide and her nostrils flaring to inhale a sharp breath of air, Janet could hear her heart boom in her ears and thump in her chest. "I just... Just gotta..."

It looked like Janet was trying to focus so she could shrink, but instead the only thing shrinking were her clothes, while SHE was getting bigger. She could hear Carol call out her name, but it was like a distant echo to the thumping boom of her heart while she felt her muscles throb and ache. Within seconds the shortest member in the Avengers began to grow taller, her clothes growing tight as her legs grew long and more defined with muscle, causing the nylons covering her thighs to split at the seams and her boots to burst open. Her shoulders grew wider while muscle continued to pack on her formally petite frame. The experience was indescribable, she felt like she was being stretched and torn apart but at the same time more of her just came into being the further she stretched. it was enough that she didn't know whether to cry out in pain or pleasure when the back of her costume split open and the front did the same seconds later, creating a breathing window for her new cleavage which by now surpassed DD in size.

Stepping back in shock, the other three Avengers could only watch as their friend turned a bright shade of green and tossed at her growing mop of hair. Clawing at the remains of her clothes, in a cry of release Janet discarded both her costume and her synthetic wings from off her back—revealing new, organic wings that slipped out of the confines of her clothes, but with a rapid flutter shook off its slimy residue and stood out two whole feet wide apart from her shoulder-blades. Breathing hard and looking down at her Amazonian physique, the now 7-foot Gamma-Powered Wasp started down at Clint, noticing she now stood a foot and a half over him, and clenched her fists and cast a broad grin.

"Hmm... Queen Wasp like!"
