What's next?
Jen thinks about if they are found.
Something primal stirred inside Jen's brain.
Did she really need new clothes?
The emerald amazon inspected what little remained of the once expensive and stylish dress. Before she would have been horrified in losing such an expensive dress, but now the emotional attachment wasn't there anymore. Even more so, why wear any while on the island? Her skin was thick enough to repel bullets, so she definitely had no worry about bug or snake bites. The climate on the island ranged between warm and scorching hot, and both the gamma brutes and her children certainly had no qualms about said heat or their own nudity.
She didn't want to admit it to herself, but she was starting to like the freedom being out here gave her. Even if she didn't get rescued, a small but growing part of her was starting to feel content with just staying here with Betty and raising a crop of red and green kids together. But even as that started to feel more and more pleasant to the green giantess, a creeping doubt rose in her mind... What if the Avengers or someone else managed to find them out here? The gamma energy given off by the Hulks would definitely register in satellites measuring radiations from space... and that would bring unwanted attention.
Her imagination races with scenarios of her and her children being rounded up by SHIELD to be studied or WORSE used as weapons. The prospect of being caged and used to bear a growing number of green skinned super soldiers for the spy agency made the woman's skin crawl and her muscles tensed in anger.
No! She wanted to make her own choices, to be free to do what she wanted for her own benefit and the benefit of her children. Not be some chained up broodmare for some... Puny humans!
And what about her kids? The moment she or Betty would come back to civilization, they would be taken away from her, instantly deemed as a potential risk. A batch of new Hulks was a potential end of the world-scenario. And Jennifer had no way of knowing how intelligent their kids would be when grown up: If they would grow up to be smart like her or just a bunch of bumbling idiots like their fathers... And the latter were the dangerous Hulks no one wanted to deal with.
Jen kicked a sheep-sized rock in frustration, sending it flying through the air while she screamed in frustration. The rock broke a few palm trees before rolling down a small cliff and plunging into a lagoon at least two hundred feet away from where she stood. The scream alerting the other Hulks and Betty who came out of the palm trees with a haul of fish she gathered from the fresh water stream.
"Did the big guys piss you off again Jenny?"
Turning to look over her bare shoulder at the nude red skinned woman, Jen pouted a frown and rolled her eyes. "No... Just thinking about our kids if the rest of civilization learned there's like a dozen more Hulks in ther world."
"Speaking of which, I think I've got another crop coming." Swooned Betty, rubbing her hand under a bulge forming at her athletic naval.
"I don't like the idea of what SHIELD would do if we ever got off this rock."
Scratching at the back of her neck, Betty shrugged and stepped over to stand side by side with the other She-Hulk. "Well... Who says we have to leave? We can stay here and raise a whole village of Hulks if we really wanted to, just the two of us lording over a growing horde of us."
"A village? These guys couldn't make a raft, let alone a bunch of huts and houses. You really think that's on par with their skill set?"
"Hey, THEY can't form shelters but WE certainly can. Who knows, if they see us doing it long enough they might actually learn something."
Returning to the others shoulder to shoulder, the two She-Hulks smiled, snaking an arm over each other's hip as they returned to the fire and added fish to their menu for tonight. The idea of just staying and forming a tribe or village of her own started to sound more appealing to the former lawyer. She was even starting to fantasize such a future. One where she sat proudly on a throne with tribal war paint over her muscular body and feathers and beads tied into her hair like some elaborate head-dress while flanked by dozens of Hulks and Betty standing nearby as a lover and advisor. Snapping out of her little fantasy, she plucked a cooked fish off the fire and took a bite, licking her lips.
"Hmm... Shulkie like!"
