*Pleased, If It's Honest And Not Excessive...*

"It is true, my children are all talented, have been blessed with good looks, and their mother teaches them well," Cipactli says smiling while using one of his younger children like a lesser man would use a five-pound weight to build up his quads. You really wish you had the writing research finished to take notes with: because that's a good idea if you ever have kids! The kids all seem to enjoy these games, and he has different exercises he does with each of them, the younger ones he does stuff like curls, the middle children he gives piggyback rides to train for carrying capacity, and the ones up to around the age of 12 he's taught how to 'plank' so he can benchpress them... After twelve though it seems he considers this game "improper". Instead, he takes his sons out hunting with him and teaches them their own exercises, while the daughters are supposed to be learning childcare and other "women's things" from their mother. Interestingly he does not consider cooking, cleaning, or making clothes "women's things"...

"I lived by myself for five years waiting for Coszcatl to be old enough to marry, if I didn't know how to cook and clean, I would not have survived. It is hard work and all men should know how to do it so that they KNOW it is hard work and properly appreciate it when their wives choose to do it for them," he explains. "Besides, if I am out hunting and my moccasin rips, if I cannot mend it I may lose the prey I am hunting. Many men, they cannot do this, so they must come home empty-handed. I never come home empty-handed!" he states with pride.

Coszcatl smiles at this and pats her round belly. "Its true, my husband may not come home with the game he set out after, but he always brings back good meat. Even if no one else does, he gets something edible!" She says with a note of pride as well.

"I always get the game I set out after. I may have thought I was after something else at first, but that just proves I don't have the first sight like you do," Cipactli half-jokes, and Teoxihuitl roles her eyes at what is apparently an old script.

"Tell me, Emperor, what will you do when you have children? How will you provide for your sons and daughters?" Cipactli asks, turning serious.
