Anna And Eric Have A Moment

Anna and Zoey made their way up the stairs along with Eric, ahead of the others. Anna's head was in a mess of different thoughts and emotions. She couldn't even try and deny to herself that she still wanted Eric, Eric was her first everything, and they should never have broken up. Of course, Anna wasn't blind to the situation; Eric was dating Zoey an incredibly nice and sweet girl. During the few hours she had spent with the redhead, Anna could already see why Eric would want to be in a relationship with her. Hell, if Anna weren't fawning over Eric, she would have been incredibly happy. Zoey was a nice, warm and sweet girl who already showed she was confident in her relationship when giving Eric a chance even to see her again.

Yet, Anna couldn't get past her feelings and be the better person now. Zoey, despite her virtue, wasn't able to win Anna over and make her decide to stay away. She needed to be with Eric, they were meant to be together, and the only reason they weren't is because of ****. Anna was **** to end her relationship and then **** to put her true feelings aside and move on. Now Eric was back, sure he wasn't back in town, but he wasn't far. As much as Anna hated to admit it, she was done putting her feelings aside, for once, she was going to do what she wanted.

As Zoey and Anna made it to their room, Zoey had a wide smile on her face, inspecting the room, "Wow, this place is amazing!" She said in a chipper tone, "Thanks so much for letting me bunk with you, Anna. Eric was right; you're so nice."

"No problem...um, we have an attached bathroom if you wanted to grab a shower." Anna pointed towards the small wooden door and the far left wall,

"That sounds amazing, um, not to be more of a burden but do you think I could borrow some clothes? I'd hate to be stuck in these things all night." Zoey said with a little giggle,

Anna smiled back and nodded, "Of course, I think I brought more than enough to share anyway," She added on with a laugh of her own, "As long as you fit...if not, I'm sure Nicole would have something more your size."

"My size? I'm pretty sure we're the same," Zoey said with a little-confused tilt of her head, noticing that they shared an almost identical slim body type,

"Oh, I'm sure our pants will but our shirts...well, um...yeah," Anna replied with a small blush and smirk as she glanced at Zoey's large breasts that nearly matched Nicole's but put hers to shame,

"Oh!" Zoey exclaimed before cupping a hand over her mouth, laughing into her hand with slight nervousness, "I sometimes forget about these...they kinda annoy me. I always need to be careful with what I'm doing, lest I risk popping out of my shirt. And in the summer with the bikinis? Forget about it," Zoey explained as Anna pulled out a pair of stretch pants and a slightly loose shirt, "Thank you," She warmly said while she took them from Anna's hand,

"No problem at all," Anna smiled back, "Now go on and clean yourself off, I'm perfectly fine waiting," Anna sincerely told the red-haired girl whole gave a small nod,

"I really mean it, thank you, Anna. I'm glad that you're being so mature about this whole situation. I wasn't exactly sure what would happen once we came up here, but I have to admit, not only do I like all of Eric's friends, you pleasantly surprised me." Zoey wholeheartedly said before opening the bathroom door, "I'll try and make it quick so we can get to sleep," Zoey tacked on while Anna sympathetically stared back at her.

As soon as the bathroom door closed and Anna heard the water start, Anna buried her head in her hands. "God damn it. How can I try to do anything with Eric, he's with Zoey. I-I'm not...I need to talk with him and settle this. Just close this off once and for all." The blonde then took a sharp breath and quickly walked from her room, glancing to her right she immediately caught the back of Eric walking into the bathroom, ready to take his own shower. She swallowed hard and walked over, lightly knocking on the door, "Eric? It's Anna, I need to talk to you," Anna tentatively said through the wooden door,

After a moment Anna heard the door unlock, and Eric cracked open the door, "Anna? Honestly...let's be real here, we shouldn't be-"

"Eric please, I just need a minute to talk," Anna pressed causing the black haired teen to let out a short sigh, nodding before reluctantly letting Anna walk into the bathroom, "Thank you."

"Sure," Eric replied while crossing his arms, "What'd you need to say, Anna?"

"I-" Anna said before catching her own tongue, she needed to phrase this question correctly. This could be her only chance to learn everything about where they stood. She swallowed and thought for a minute as Eric looked at her. Eventually, he had to move her blue eyes away; Eric could tell that he was starting to drink in her sight...almost savoring it. "I need to ask one thing, and this will tell me everything I need to know,"

Eric pulled his eyes back and locked onto Anna's green orbs, "Okay, w-what do you need to know?"

"Do...you still care about me?" Anna softly asked,

Eric shut his eyes, nearly looking defeated, "Anna...you need to leave,"

"No, Eric it's a simple question, and I need an answer. Please, just tell me," Anna begged while stepping closer to her ex-boyfriend,

"Anna that's a loaded question, and you know it," Eric replied while taking a step away from her,

"Just tell me! Do you care about me?! Do you still want me!?" Anna nearly shouted out,

"Yes! Okay, I do still care about us!" Eric exclaimed before abruptly grabbing Anna and pulling her into a needful kiss. Anna let out a moan and wrapped her arms around Eric, tenderly holding him while returning the kiss with vigor, "God," Eric softly whispered as he broke the kiss, resting his forehead against Anna's, "All I've thought about since I left was you, Anna. Every day, Almost every hour, it's always been you." He admitted causing Anna to take a slow inhale,

"I...me too, Eric, I've missed you so much. I didn't move on...how could you move on? How did-" Anna softly began to ask, sounding hurt over the fact now,

"I didn't move on; I started seeing someone else. I care about Zoey, I do, but Anna...I never stopped caring about us. I never actually let us end, I couldn't," Eric explained before suddenly going wide-eyed and pushing out of Anna's hold, "Shit...no, no, no. Anna, you need to leave. We-we can't. I'm...I'm dating Zoey,"

"Y-You are." Anna nodded, "Yes you are, I...I'm so sorry, Eric. I'll leave," Anna almost whimpered back while quickly pushing open the door and powerwalking back to her room, her heart fluttering as she could still feel the tingle on her lips from Eric's kiss.
