Monster nuns

When Audrey opened the door back out he was quite confused. He didn’t quite see any monsters, but he now saw a swarm of other… nuns? It looked like as if the one that just passed by him had a scaly tail sticking out from her outfit.

He looked back into the room at the nun. She said nothing, but merely smiled at him once again.

Audrey finally closed the door behind him. He was the only one in this hallway now not in a nun’s habit, but nobody paid any attention to him.

He just stood rooted to the spot, and merely observed for a good while. One nun looked like she was either literally a floating habit, or some sort of a ghost, or possibly even invisible. Another was… some type of amorphous mass squirming around on the ground, somehow without accidentally rolling the outfit into itself... or herself? Some of them looked as if they were the size of his hand, and flew around on tiny little wings. Others looked completely normal, but must have had some hidden monster characteristic about them. But if these were the monsters…
