The Party Begins

Mindy headed out of the wreck room and immediately saw Eric and Zoey walking towards her, "Eric? Oh wow, what are you doing here?" She asked complete shock,

"I met up with Anna, Nicole, and Kenny earlier today; they invited us up here. Zoey, this is Mindy, Mindy Zoey. My girlfriend," Eric introduced the two, Zoey gave Mindy a quick wave,

"Great to meet you," Mindy smiled back before swallowing slowly, "So...Kenny's back?" She asked with a tilt of her head,

"Oh yeah, we got back a few minutes ago. I guess there just finishing up the last bit of stuff then, party on." Eric replied with a shrug,

"It sounds like it's going to be a great time," Zoey tacked on,

Mindy nodded while stepping past the pair, "Yeah, totally...I, uh, I gotta talk to Kenny. See you guys later," She quickly mumbled out while heading straight into the den, she saw JJ, Kailyn, Anna, and Brian but no Kenny...or Nicole. She almost ran into the kitchen where she spotted the back of her friend at the counter, with both Rachel and Nicole next to him, "Kenny," She whispered out,

"So, I'm going to have to take you around the block tonight Ken," Rachel said with a smile, "What do you think Nikki, where should we start?"

"Be easy with him, he's new to all this," Nicole giggled back, "Though, he's a quick learner,"

"Oh really? Good to hear, very good to hear," Rachel sighed while tilting her head,

Mindy's eyes widened, her hands clenched, she was barely able to handle Nicole but if Rachel was trying to move in on Kenny as well...she didn't stand a chance. She sucked in a deep breath; she couldn't just stand here and listen to how they were going to "Take" him tonight, she wouldn't. "Hey, Kenny," She abruptly said while walking towards him,

"Oh, Mindy...hey," Kenny said with a weak smile, still feeling awkward over what happened earlier,

"When did you get back?" She merely asked while approaching the counter and leaning against the counter, "What are you guys talking about?" She quickly asked while looking at the other two girls,

"Oh, we're just talking about Kenny's training," Rachel grinned,

"Yeah...want to help?" Nicole giggled,

Mindy gulped, not expecting to hear that, "Uh...w-what?"

"They want me to try every drink tonight," Kenny chuckled out causing Mindy to untense and let out a slow breath, "Yeah I know, look at all of this...they want to kill me, Mindy," He chuckled, looking at his friend, attempting to see where they stood,

Mindy lowered her head, her lips slowly curling up into a smile, completely relieved, "Sounds like it," She giggled back, "How can I help?" She grinned,

"Ah, hell..." Kenny sighed, accepting his fate,

"Well, you're his best friend, so you know best. Where should Kenny start his liquor rainbow?" Rachel replied while motioning her hand to the dozen bottles of **** sitting on the counter,

"Um...let's see..." Mindy mumbled out while looking the bottles over,

"Please be kind," Kenny sighed while resting his head on his hand,

"No be rough, start with something hard," Nicole deviously smiled,

Mindy let out a breathy laugh and looked over to Kenny, "Whiskey," She said with a raise of her brow,

"Which one we talking about?" Rachel asked with a slightly surprised look,

Kenny grimaced and waited, "Fireball," She said causing Nicole to let out a laugh,

"Talk about a burn!" Nicole cackled while picking up a few other bottles, "Set him up girls; I'll take these out to the others." With that, Nicole left the room and Rachel grabbed the bottle of Fireball, and a shot glass,

"Go on, Mindy, your call, you pour," Rachel smirked as she grabbed a few bottles as well and left the room,

Mindy looked between the bottle and Kenny a few times, before smirking and reaching out for the bottle, "I suppose I should pour you a shot, I mean you did lose your virginity today, right?" Mindy asked while popping open the bottle,

"Uh, what?" Kenny coughed back, "W-Who told you that?"

"JJ...Brian...You right now," Mindy smirked back as she poured the drink, "So, feel like a new man?"

"Are we seriously having this talk right now?" Kenny groaned out while rubbing his face,

"I'm just curious, I mean you and Nikki were starting that shit when I was sleeping on your arm after all," Mindy innocently replied, "So..." She asked while nudging his arm,

"I...don't know," Kenny replied with a shrug, "I mean, I liked it and everything, but I guess it just wasn't how I expected it to go." He looked over to Mindy and picked up his drink, "I always thought my first time was going to be some real special, connected thing, not exactly a fling with Nicole." Kenny swallowed his shot and let out a loud hacking cough, "Damn..." He grunted,

"Fling?" Mindy asked, leaning a little closer with interest,

"Yeah," Kenny nodded while softly coughing a few more times and hitting his chest, "Christ that burns," He continued to mutter, "Nicole made it clear not too long ago that we're just screwing around, I guess it makes sense, we're not exactly compatible you know? She's a party girl, and I'm...well you know me, Mindy." Kenny sighed while shaking his head,

"Yeah, I know you, Ken." Mindy softly agreed, tentatively putting a hand on his back,

"Ah, don't worry about me, I'm fine. I'm still getting to mess around with Nicole this week, so whatever." Kenny said with a toss of his hand, believing Mindy was showing him just concern, "I'll just live it up before I'm back in the real world. Where things are put in their place, Nicole will go back to her party friends, and I'll go back to..."

"Being with me," Mindy finished,

"Sure, back with you and JJ," Kenny said with a smirk. Kenny suddenly let out a short laugh and shook his head, "Fuck, that got a little heavy, huh? Listen to me whine about nothing; I'm gonna head to the den, you coming?"

"Definitely," Mindy smiled back, internally excited that Nicole and Kenny actually seemed to be nothing, it would make her move go a lot smoother,

"And hey, since you like to know the low down on all things Kenny, apparently Nicole and I are going for round two later tonight," Kenny laughed as he picked up the bottle of Fireball, "Wish me luck,"

"Yeah, good luck," Mindy grinned back as Kenny left the room ahead of her, "Not happening Kenny, you're mine tonight, it's time you knew about me...and what I really think." She muttered out before following her friend and crush out of the room.
