Double date night?

"Well I'm sure you guys want us out of your hair." Courtney smiled.

Sarah grabbed Courtney excitedly. "No, you guys should come with us!" Of course they agreed, none of them could resist her sweet smile. Jill was confused but went along with it anyway. Sarah bounced with excitement as she held Jill's hand and wandered the wonderous field. Sarah didn't know where to start first, food, rides, or games. "Oh my gosh!" Sarah shouted spying the giant teddy bear hanging that had to be nearly as big as her if not bigger.

"How bout a game?" the barker said. "Test your luck and win the prize!"

Jill looked into Sarah's hopeful eyes "Sure." Sarah squeeled in delight. The foursome stepped to the booth.

"Alright now three bucks gets you a bucket a balls, knock one bottle down you get one of these little prizes," he pointed to a small row of trinkets like keychains and sunglasses "Knock two down you get these lovely prizes here." he tapped a higher shelf "Knock all three down and you get to choose anything from the top row."

Jill handed the man three singles and he handed her a small bucket of balls giving her only three chances. Jill took the first ball wound up and...! And she missed. Just barely. But still an embarrasing miss. "Guess I'm a little rusty." Jill explained. Another attempt and another miss. Jill grumbled and snatched the final ball out of the bucket. This time she stepped back and dropped back like she remembered growing up, the girls cheered her on, the wind up, the pitch and she hit dead center knocking over two bottles.

"Winner winner!" The man shouted.

"I want the puppy!" Sarah shouted with glee. The barker handed Sarah a small stufed dog that looked just like Elmo. "I love him." She said softly kissing it's forehead. "And I love you." she kissed Jill on her forehead.

"Sorry I couldn't win you the bear."

"Please, I got lil Elmo. Where to next?"

"I'm tired of standing." Courtney spoke up finally tearing herself away from staring at Kelsey.

"We could eat or go on a ride." Kelsey offered.

"Well if we're gonna eat we should get any fast rides out of the way." Sarah still hadn't taken her eyes off lil Elmo. She really hated being so far away from him. Maybe she should have gotten the clock radio.

"I only got one scary ride in me so let's get that out of the way." Jill pulled Sarah into her wrapping her comforting arm around Sarah's bare shoulders.

Despite being tired of standing it was still a five minute wait in line for the tilt-a-whirl. Despite it being the least scary ride in the park Jill stood nervously before the behemoth. She was always afraid of rides that threw her around or out of control, but oddly even to her not the one that spun around so fast you were stuck to the wall.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you."

"Not much you can do if I'm flung from the ride."

"I'll hold onto you real tight." Sarah smiled sweetly. Jill put on a brave face but she was still anxious as the ticket taker took their tickets. Jill and Sarah sat together of course next to them was Courtney and Kelsey. The ride began and true to her word Sarah held on tight to Jill as they were lifted in the air and spun around wildly.

After the ride ended Sarah helped the wobbly legged Jill to a nearby table while she rubbed her back. "Can I get you anything?"

"...I wanna funnel cake."

"Okay stay here."

"I'll come too." Kelsey joined Sarah while courtney sat with Jill.

"So...you okay?" Courtney asked.

"Just dizzy. One of the reasons I hate rides like that."

"Then why do it?"

"I like to try new things." Jill rested her face in her hands. "Speaking of new things. You and Kelsey?"

Courtney blushed "I don't know. She's fun and she's cute. I just don't know if she likes me like that. Ya know?"

Jill groaned, "Yeah tell me about it. I literally serenaded Sarah at one point and she gave me a massage and I still wasn't sure." Jill watched Kelsey and Sarah talking in line. "But then again, she is here with you on Valentine's Day. So...maybe take the leap."

In the line Sarah and Kelsey stood awkwardly. "Does she always get dizzy that easily?"

"Not that I know of, this is our first time on a fast ride." Sarah giggled nervously. "I'm really excited to be on my first double date."

"What?"

"Next." The concession worker called
