Fessing up

"A double what now?" Kelsey asked confused, ignoring the concession worker.

"Are you not here with Courtney as a date?" Sarah asked.

"No.... I'm here because she asked me to come along because she didn't have a date. Honestly I'd rather be streaming some dating sims." Kelsey told her flatly. "But I mean I would have gone with her anyway. She's a cool roomie." She said, backpedaling after seeing Sarah's expression turn glum.

"You should just tell her how you feel." Jill told Courtney. "Are you crazy? I can't just tell her...." Courtney said sadly. "It worked for me and Sarah." Jill told Courtney, placing her hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

"Hey you two, did y'all catch up?" Jill said as the two girls came back both with funnel cakes in each hand.

Sarah and Kelsey exchanged looks before nodding. Sarah then let out a giggle. "What's so funny?" Jill asked. "You said 'y'all'."
