It was Annika's birthday, her eighteenth birthday to be specific.
Annika is a gamer, doesn't matter if its playing games on Steam, rolling dice around the table while playing Pathfinder, playing Magic or Pokemon, or playing miniatures games like Warhammer. She loved to game.
Best part is, her parents were going to be out of town for a whole week, and her friends were all coming over for a weekend of gaming!
Annika groans as her alarm clock starts blaring at her. With one hand she slaps at the alarm clock, hitting it on the third try.
She sighs to herself, then rolls slowly out of bed. Stretching, her Deadpool shirt pulls up to reveal a couple of inches of her pale belly. Doing so momentarily reveals her 'Talk nerdy to me' underwear.
Sleepily, she pads her way to her bathroom.
Eighteenth birthday today! She thinks with a smile. Parents are gone for the weekend and my friends are coming over to game this afternoon!
