Knock On The Door

"Hey you okay in there Haiz?" a mysterious boyfriend asks.

“Yeah I’m okay. Just a girl thing, I’ll be out in a little bit,” you quickly say as you hope saying it’s a girl issue will freak him out a bit and give you the space and privacy that you need at the moment.

You look in the mirror and fix the hair that is constantly getting into your face. It still feels weird to even stand in Hailee’s body as her center of gravity is completely different from your old one. It was so weird for you to look into a mirror and see someone else’s reflection. Another knock came from the door.

“You sure you’re okay? Do you need any lady products? I’ll go out and get some for you if that is the case,” the male voice said.

“Yeah. I can’t believe I totally forgot. Can you please go to the store and pick me up some tampons?” you reply, using this as an opportunity to get this guy out of the house for a bit.

“Any brand?” He asked.

“Any brand is fine,” you reply.

“Okay, I’ll be back in 30 to 45 minutes,” he says. You stay silent until you hear what you guess is the front door slam.

“Good. Now that he’s gone I have 30-45 minutes to figure out what the hell exactly happened here,” you say to yourself, still not used to Hailee’s voice.

“What should I do first?” You wonder to yourself before you leave the bathroom.

“I think I should...”
