Allison's back... and she's invited Gwen in

There's some movement in the other room, but you barely register it until someone knocks on the bedroom door. "Sarah, sweetie, it's Allison. Come on out for your donuts."

As you pull yourself up, you start to talk to Allison through the door. "Oh, thank god! You will never guess who was just..." You open the door, and are immediately greeted by the sight of Allison and Gwen sitting at the table, a tray of donuts between them and an empty chair waiting for you. "...here"

You stand there silently until Allison gestures for you to come over. You then walk to the table and take a seat, careful to keep your t-shirt all the way down. Gwen seems to be expecting for you to introduce yourself. Instead you just grab a donut and start shoving it into your mouth, barely remembering to chew properly in your nervousness.

Thankfully, Allison is apparently willing to speak for you, though she does lead with an exasperated sigh at your behavior. "Gwen, this is Sarah. Sarah, this is Gwen. Gwen Doe." she starts, making all of the appropriate gestures, "Gwen is one of my closest friends, and also my ex John's sister." You can't help but cringe slightly at being named as Allison's ex, though you suppose you should have seen it coming. You also didn't realize Gwen and Allison were so close. You finally turn to Gwen, hold out a hand and say "nife to meemph you" - your attempt at politeness foiled somewhat by a mouthful of donut.

Gwen laughs good-naturedly and shakes your hand. She seems to understand that your apparent rudeness is caused by embarrassment. "It's nice to 'meemph' you too. I've been trying to tell Allison for ages she can do better than my dweeb of a brother. I never would have guessed she'd land a cutie like you though."

Needless to say, it's very strange to be casually insulted and then hit on in the same breath. Since it's your sister doing it, though, you decide to focus on the former. "Is it really okay for you to talk about your own brother like that?" You ask.

Gwen just laughs, then quips "you must be an only child. Seriously though, I thought Allie would have figured out ages ago that it's okay to be gay, hanging out with me all the time."

You had long suspected Gwen was a lesbian, but it is kind of weird to have it confirmed like this. Especially since you're pretty sure she's just bringing it up to flirt with you. Then you start to put together some pieces in your mind. "Wait...so you knew?" you ask, looking back and forth between your sister and your soon-to-be-ex girlfriend, "You two haven't ever...?"

As the two of them start to realize just what it is you're suggesting, Allison looks shocked, while Gwen for her part just looks somewhat bemused. It's pretty obvious even to you that she's considered the idea before, while Allison never has. Allison looks like she's getting ready to scold you for even suggesting it, but Gwen butts in first. "Now, now, no need to get jealous. We're just good friends. Besides, she never actually told me she liked girls. She just didn't do a good job of hiding it."

...Didn't she though? You turn your gaze back towards Allison. Were you really such a terrible boyfriend? Just the other day, you would have said you were good to Allison. But apparently, you failed to even notice her sexual orientation. Hell, you barely ever noticed her hanging out with your sister, and apparently they're best friends. Allison notices some sign of your anguish and, with a comforting look, reaches out to hold your hand. You look back at her. You really don't deserve her, do you? After today, will she ever look at you like this again?

"Seriously, though," Gwen interrupts your introspective moment, "don't I know you from somewhere? You seem really... familiar, somehow. Plus, you've been acting weird since I got here." You turn to Gwen, surprised. She isn't about to let this go - it's like she's starting to recognize you, somehow, as her brother John. Then you turn back to Allison. She gives your hand a reassuring squeeze and looks at you in a way that says whatever you decide, she'll support you.
