*The Battle of Polytopia*

The Battle of Polytopia, often just called Polytopia, is a boiled-down 4X game, having all the key elements of the genre but lacking the mind-numbing complexity of some of its kin.

You start as the ruler of a tribe (each of which gives you a small advantage), and are tasked with leading them to victory. This is usually done by conquering all other tribes, though there are other win conditions, which mostly revolve around points earned by improving your empire.

In order to achieve your goal of world domination, you will need to train units, learn technologies, and develop your cities, all of which are done by spending the universal resource of stars, as well as explore the map, expand your empire, search ancient ruins, and crush your enemies, which are done using troops.
