Girlie Weekend !

The company had a new contract to provide software for a package holiday firm, who had offered a free long weekend break for two employees on the signing of the deal. Jeff decided to donate these to Debbi and Carol in thanks for their recent team building efforts. Debbi insisted that the success of these events was not due to any work on her part but Carol told her she was in fact instrumental to their success and deserved the break. "The tickets are both 'plus one', so you can take a guest along too" said Jeff. "Where are they to ?" asked Debbi. "Cyprus" answered Jeff. "Cyprus ? A bit of a trek for a long weekend isn't it ?" wondered Debbi. "I can spare you both for a Friday and Monday, so you'll have Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday before heading back Monday." "I suppose that's reasonable" Debbi agreed.

Debbi was between men and Carol did not fancy taking her husband. "Let's make it a girlie weekend" suggested Carol. "Sounds good to me" said Debbi. "I'll let you choose." Later that day, Debbi regretted that decision, being less than enamoured with Carol's choice. "I thought Jackie and Sarah were your friends and you'd enjoy having company your own age as well as an oldie like me" Carol said disingenuously. "Friends ? We hate each other" complained Debbi. "Oh, I'm sure you're exaggerating. They were very complimentary about you at that hypnotist evening when I chatted with them. Anyway, a holiday's different, it'll be a great bonding opportunity !" "I guess" said Debbi dubiously. "And you're not an oldie" she told her 38 year old assistant affectionately.

In fact, it had been Carol who had been bonding with Jackie and Sarah since that evening at the pub and the subsequent sharing of the secret password for Andy the hypnotist's site. They were drawn together by a mutual antipathy towards Debbi that had its' roots in jealousy of her looks and success. They had all delighted in discretely sharing around the password for the Debbi video among interested parties and they could now all see the great possibilities for further mischief at her expense during a weekend in Ayia Napa. Which was a not unappealing prospect on its' own, even without the thought of torment for Debbi !

A couple of weeks later on the Friday, Debbi got up at stupid o'clock for the drive to Gatwick airport to catch the early flight. It would be worth it, since they would then get a full Friday evening in Ayia Napa. She was travelling light, it was only a long weekend and if she became in **** need of anything else, she could buy it there. She had packed flip flops for the beach but was travelling in heels, which wasn't ideal but she thought she would need them for the evening night life. Otherwise, she had a light cream jacket over crisp white t-shirt and knee length khaki skirt. Carol had made a big thing of telling Debbi all about the latest travel advice she had apparently read in a women's magazine. She claimed this article stated that, in order to reduce the risk of thrombosis on long and medium haul flights, it was best for women not to wear any underwear for the journey. Debbi had taken that fictional advice to heart !
