You try your best but there just isn't enough light to find any. You go to Kairi and give her the rest of the supplies you gathered.

"Sorry, I couldn't find any mushrooms. The light's almost gone, I'm sure Ill be able to find them tomorrow."

"Well what have you been doing all day you lazy bum?"

You freeze up for a second, not sure how to respond. "Well," you say, arms behind your head trying to think up a response, "I kept trying to beat Riku at sword fighting. The score ended up 20 to 0" It sounds like a good lie, believable. You've never been able to beat Riku at anything, except for a few flukes.

"Well, he is a year older than you. Maybe you shouldn't try so hard, you'll wear yourself out." She tells you, with a genuine look of concern on her face. You feel a sudden pang of guilt. How could you lie to her? You know you can't tell her what happened with you and Selphie, you'd probably lose any chance of being with her.

"Sora, where'd you go?"

"Huh, oh. Sorry about that, just thinking."

"What about?"

Just thinking? You couldn't have phrased that any better now could you?

"We're missing the sunset. Come on, lets catch up with Riku!"

You run off before she can say another word and pride yourself on your quick thinking. It should be less awkward with three people.
