Marcus wasn't paying attention as the tendrils wrap around his legs, as they tighten he notices them and panics jumping, but with the tendrils gripping his legs he trips up and falls to the floow, more tendrils snake out to grab him before an arrow thuds in to the ground behind Marcus cutting the tendrils at their root stopping more of them. with the help Marcus is able to scramble out of the dying tendrils and get up and away from the plants base.
