In the 28th century Humankind has managed to expand across the galaxy forming pockets of colonized planets and warp lanes for faster travel. but along with expansion comes risk of piracy and black markets.
Over the past century pirates and smugglers have begun to increase activity and many rare and unusual and materials have been floating around the black markets, your ship was sent to investigate a potential planet that could be the source of these new and potentially even a base of operations for the pirates in this [sector.
At 0900 hours the USS striker warped in over the planet classified VX3 42G9, the ship was alive with activity as they found their sensors were being jammed, the alarm and ship wide alert to prepare for battle was ringing throughout the ships corridors waking Marcus up as they groan and look around.
