Fourth meeting, and preparing to meet the parents

You barely listen to the Headmistress and the Dean at the fourth meeting, letting your mind wander over the events of the day, and wondering if Valerie will be able to keep her relationships with you and Brian secret. You had know she wasn't very bright, but she seems dumber each time you meet her.

Maybe you and Brian really are fucking her brains out, you smirk to yourself as the meeting ends and the students file out, picking up their Codes of Conduct. You stand and stretch and see Headmistress Naylor beckon to you and Brian.

"Valerie Cummin's parents are here," she says as you join her. "They arrived early and I told them that if everyone was available we could meet earlier. If you're not ready, I can just tell them the original time stands."

"I'm good with now," Brian says with a nod and a smile at Ms. Naylor.

"Sure, let's get it over with," you add.

"Very well. They're waiting in my office. I should warn you that there is some hostility between the mother and father. And between the...step-mother and the mother as well. Hopefully they'll behave themselves, but I wouldn't count to strongly on that.

"Do you need me there?" Dean Hawkfeather asks as he finishes tidying up his papers.

"It's not essential, but they'll probably have questions about the Code of Conduct and the adherence to the letter of the law. It might be helpful if you were there," Ms. Naylor tells him with a smile.

"I'd be happy to," he smiles back, and the four of you leave the library and head downstairs.
