Wait. Tiana returns. And Chanel has a request

You take a seat near the examination room door, hoping to eavesdrop on the conversation between the nurse and Chanel. Unfortunately, the door is thick enough to muffle their conversation, and despite your best efforts you can hear nothing of substance.

You consider leaving, but decide that it might look odd if you weren't there when the nurse came out. You sit back and relax, waiting patiently.

No more than a few moments pass when the door opens and Tiana Willes steps into the office. She glances quickly at the closed door of the examination room, then at you.

"Nurse Wulf is with Chanel," you tell her. "She asked me to wait."

"Is she ok?" the willowy blonde asks, taking a seat next to you. "Did she say what happened?"

"She's pretty upset. Someone played a prank on her, and cut her teddy bear up."

"That's so mean! She loves that silly bear. I don't know why anyone would do something like that."

You shrug, frowning sadly. "If I've learned anything in life, it's that there are always people around who are capable of being mean and spiteful, for no reason except the pleasure they take from hurting others."

"I suppose," she says sadly. "I don't understand how someone can be so cruel. Poor Chanel. Did she say anything? About who might have done it I mean?"

"Not really, she just cried a lot, asking why someone would hurt 'Jo-Jo'. I guess that's the bear's name." You're not about to share anything that Chanel blurted out with this girl, who you suspect is seeking information as much as she's concerned for her friend.

"Yes, she's had it for years I think. That's why she's so upset, I guess. It's so great that you and Dean Hawkfeather were there so quick. Do you think the teddy bear can be fixed?"

"It looked pretty ripped up to me, but I'm no expert on sewing. Maybe someone could."

"I sure wish I knew who did this. They'd pay for it, for sure."

"Do you have any ideas who might have done it?"

"Not really. Some girls are pretty jealous, and Chanel is a popular girl. Maybe someone did it because of that."

"But no names?"

"I wouldn't want to guess. There are some girls who are pretty mean, but I don't know if I should say."

"Like who? Come on Tiana, this is just a conversation. No one is going to be convicted based on your guessing."

She looks doubtful, playing with her fingers as she thinks. "Well there's this Valerie Cummins girl. She's really jealous, and kinda mad because she wants to hang out with us. With our group of friends I mean. But she's so dumb and snotty. Like she's always talking about how much money her father has, and how he's powerful and stuff, when everyone knows he just got lucky with some stocks he got for doing some computer work. Most of our families have way more money and it gets stupid to hear her bragging. Especially when she's such a dumb bitch."

"I see. Anyone else?"

"Not really. A girl called Grace Mathewson had an argument with Chanel last year but it didn't come to much. And Grace isn't the type, or at least she doesn't seem like that. I mean she might play a prank but I can't see her destroying the teddy bear. And honestly Mr. Sharp, I can't think of any girl who would do this. Even Valerie probably wouldn't. She'd be too scared to."

Any further conversation you might have is interrupted by Nurse Wulf opening the examining room door and stepping into the office. She glances at Tiana, then turns her attention to you.

"Miss Vallon is asking to speak with you Mr. Sharp," she says, gesturing to the examining room.
