The Abyss Watchers of the Farron Legion (...and all that bullshit)

You followed the Shade, to a small path hidden from the Gru filled Grove, that led to the Watchers, the Path led to some crumbling ruins, and sure enough their sat an unlit Bonfire; emanating a faint glow. The Pale Shade stood aside allowing you the Honour of relighting the Flames, you smirked under your helmet "Why thank you Pale sha-you know it really Ruins the flow of a sentence calling you that" he remained silent "...I think you need a nickname my Pale Friend..." he shook his head "...no need Our Lord, My name is Orris" You walked over lighting the bonfire, reaching up and quickly removing your heavy helm, "I am Ash, Orris; a pleasure to meet you." the Pale shade merely nodded "I know m'lord, lasy Yuria informed me of everything that I need to know..." Orris was indeed strange, but non the less, another sword in this battle would be much welcomed.

"well then Orris My Friend, we have some Watchers to kill" you traced your steps back through the ruins and back to the Gru inhabited grove, "M'lord, I assume you have a plan for your battle with the abyss Watchers?" you couldn't help but chuckle, "You will find that I do not have time for that shit, during a battle..." Orris sighed "Surely we should do so now before the battle?" You gripped your hilt unsheathing your Icy blade, "How can we Plan now, if the battle has already started?!" the Gru flew at you but they had lost the element of surprise a while ago, after you had heard one of them sneaking about, and so you had no issue cutting the feral Beast in twine.

Orris had also began fighting, and he followed as your began to slowly make your way to the Dusty old keep on the other end of the Shaded grove, a few Gru tried to attack you, but they fell in seconds, the Watchers are the fight that you were looking forward to.

it took a minute of slaying, before both you and Orris and gotten to the Large Wooden doors of the Legion's Keep, your eyebrow raised as the Striking echo of Steel on Steel blasted from the other side of the door, both you and the Shade looked at each other, "they are occupied fighting another?" You shook your head "No, something doesn't feel right, dot let you guard down." you said to the Shade, putting your helmet back on.

you took hold of the large ring handle and pushed forward, and as you slowly entered the keep, your eyes widened in disbelief, you saw a man, he was very tall and wore a dirty cape, atop his head being a Pointed helmet and a Mask that covered his face; a watcher for sure, but... another man stood in the same outfit, both wielding heavy great sword: but they did not act as fellow Watchers, they... they fought they fought like their lives depended on it, the right Watcher parried his comrade running him through swiftly and painlessly, allowing his Ally to fall from his massive blade.

The Watcher's corpse fell to the Blood soaked ground, and you saw, just how many corpses were on the Keeps floor, a hundred... no a hundred and fifty maybe, all wearing pointed helms, face masks and long red capes. The Lone Watcher turned to face you, he stood straight, raising his blade to you, and resting his arm, dagger in hand across his chest, forming a strange salute, you wanted to bow but any thought of Chivalry was interrupted by the Tall Watcher sprinting at you blade and dagger in hand.

Orris acted first running in front of you to shield you from danger, but you were a skilled warrior and thus threw a cheeky firebomb over the Shade which landed perfectly on he Watcher, you mind focused on the Sword-work, and the fight was wild, he would swing using the Great sword's massive reach to catch you, but a couple rolls would spare you the hit,, he would smash his dagger into the ground like a steak and use them to slide across the floor with his blade, allowing long strikes, one of them managed to catch on your leg, but you adrenaline was too high for you to stop.

The wound he caused mad you burst into a sudden Thrill, as when he went to swing you parried quickly and severed his sword hand, the next strike pierced his throat as he fell to the ground, Gross bubbling and croaking sounds coming from his as he died.

But their was no time for celebration as two more Watchers came from what looked like nowhere, now back to back, You and Orris prepared for a tough battle, "Let's get ready to rumble Orris...." the Watcher's attacked viciously and both you and the Shade fought back as hard as you could, blades cashed and blood spilled, but a the two watchers weakened, another two came, though things seemed fine for you and the Shade, But it took a turn when two began to attack the others, it became a skirmish, a wild Bout of Bloodshed, the killed one another while you and Orris slew them one by one, and after some battling the lst one fell, with Orris' barbed blade ran through his chest.

You could hear Orris heaving, as he tried to catch his breath, you watched in both awe and annoyance as the Blood from the dead began to ooze with blood, the Thick pools gathered and slowly rose into the air, it all slowly began to flow into the corpse of who you recognised to be the First watcher you Slew, the Blood made him rise and ignited a Flam within his body and his Blade... while his body began to shine with Embers, his Blade burst into Wild-Fire "Oh shit..." you said readying for a fight, it suddenly became quite apparent to you that you where heavily injured, you had a heavy slash on your calf, two large lacerations on your Back and a possible concussion.

the Embered Watcher came forth attacking, his massive waves of flame bursting towards you, "A little help Orris!" you said barely doging the massive sweeps of his fiery attacks, Orris ran over thugh still slightly fatigued, the two clashed for a moment but then the Shade made the mistake of trying to overpower the Watcher, which he paid for, the Embered Watcher slammed his Dagger into the Shades shoulder, he cried out in pain as the Watcher went to drive his blade through the Shade's chest.

in a pure fit of instinct, you sprinted into the Warrior, Bashing him very violently, he tumbled to the ground dropping his large Blade, you took it and before he could stand, batted him with it, the large slightly dull blade didnt cut through the flesh resistless, it battered and bashed his flesh, and broke his bones, you continued to do this until he was little but a Puddle and you covered in fountain's worth of Blood.
