“I want the other girl to be Sarah.”
The words are out of your mouth before you know it, and the deafening silence that follows is so palpable that you can hear your own heartbeat.
"Sarah? My roommate? My best friend?" asks Kendra, evenly. "That Sarah?"
You gulp and try to discern the meaning behind your girlfriend's look and tone of voice.
"Connor, I'm asking you a question. Do you have the hots for Sarah?"
