"Oh, but we had a lovely time, haven't we, Miss Blushing?" said the girl in the green dress, smiling and playing absent-mindedly with the empty wine bottle. "Come again sometime soon. The prospect of **** by boredom is still very real to me! We could have a conversation about your nipples, which of course aren't showing. Would you like that?"

"Yeah, sure. See you later, then!" said Viv, the flush on her cheeks deepening. The fact that she was being teased made her feel conflicted. Her instincts urged her to run away, but on the other hand, it would be interesting and pleasant to get teased a little bit more. Agatha's drunken insolence was rather sweet, though infuriating.

However, in the end Vivianne's bashfulness won. She went upstairs, leaving the Chamber of Dread behind.

She found herself back in the waxworks' main room, with all the exquisitely dressed figures. The idea of trying on some of the gowns came back as well; but this time, Viv was boldened by her slightly tipsy state. "Why not? Agatha said there were almost not guests at the hotel, and no one was coming here," she thought.

But there was also a great wonderful big Victorian skirt made of black satin with lace trimmings. The goth girl was rather eager to try it on.
