Instantly your eyes are drawn to the magazine section and after a while you bumble over. The selection is much the same as you would expect in other towns; colourful cartoons, gossip rags, fashion magazines.

As your eyes inevitably drifts to the top shelf - the more adult selection - you find it slightly lower than in other shops. More unusual is the glammy frontpages, that almost exclusively feature oiled up or muscular men, in various stages of undress.

You spot a single naked woman, but generally get the feeling that none of these are designed to be, as the euphemism goes, 'Men's magazines'.

You discretely gaze towards the counter but it looks like she's not paying attention; you could take a closer look if you wanted to.
