Hives and Imitation

Hives are what is brought into being after a Darkness Spire absorbs enough bio mass and life ****. From the biomass and dna formation found in the life forms they infect they can create replicas, albeit black generally speaking, to do their bidding. However hives have a limit they can create a day (Ill let writers decide the intricacies of these things for their own personal version of the story.) These limitations exist because of the rate of replication.

Hives come in five stages. The higher the stage, the more powerful the creatures it can produce and the more of previous lower tier monsters they can give birth to as well.

•First stage is generally things like insects, small rodents, small birds etc.

Then it scales. (Ill let writers decide specificities depending on their desires of the story.)

Typically Stage Five is max tier, and can give birth to some of the most powerful creatures Darkness has to offer.

Tier 1-A month to produce

Tier 2-A year to be able to evolve already existing hive

Tier 3-100yrs

Tier4-1000yrs

Tier5-10,000yrs

By its self this path is not as efficient as True Evil Futa Beings.

Can make another hive of same caliber in fractions of the time to evolve to the next.

Hives can acclimate energy towards certain things like Information Gathering, Defense (which can build defensive structures), Agression which is the production for more larger animals, Construction where buildings a re produced that have specific functions like hive tunnels, or human farm facilities etc and Birthing, from this Hive Queens can be born to help produce more smaller creatures of that hive level.

Certain evolutionary paths can be unlocked in animals, to give them an advantage in other environments where one wouldnt normally see that animal, such as some sort of octopus creature on land, or heat resistence or armor where there once wasnt any, etc.

Hives can even be transported which exhaust quite of bit of energy, as well as troop transportaion.

Or can fuse together with like hives to produce grade two or higher versions of the same hive tier, which means they produce the same level of troop only at a higher amount. (This is faster to build but it only produces the smallest units, primarially used as a flood tactic.)
