Chapter 11 by rumppumper rumppumper

What's next?

Millie's Escape

Millie was trying to keep her breathing absolutely silent as she heard the barking dogs move away further from where she was hiding. She had managed to escape from the caravan of **** traders that had captured her a few hours ago, wiggling loose one of the wooden bars of the cage that her and about a dozen unfortunate others had been kept in for weeks.

The night was cold and she was only wearing the thin white gown she had worn on the day she was captured, and it was torn in a number of places now from running through the bushes as she made her escape. Millie continued to lay still as she heard the sound of the searchers getting more and more distant. She hoped that they would eventually give up and move on with the caravan, but she was also frightened by the perilous journey that she needed to undertake alone to get back home.

Through the cage she had seen the **** caravan pass groups of trolls, dwarfs, goblins, and even the occasional orc and at night she had heard the tortured screams of giants and other creatures she could only imagine. She had tried to remember the turns that the caravan had taken, but as the days of the journey had turned into weeks she had lost track. She did not even know how many weeks she had been travelling for now, but she was determined that she would get back home, no matter what it took.

Millie let a few more minutes pass by, then she started to crawl out from her hiding spot as silently as she possibly could, but a branch caught her white gown, ripping it completely. Millie tried to pull it on her, but it was no use. In the distance she now heard wolves howling, and she was growing increasingly cold. She needed to find shelter quickly if she was not going to freeze or even worse, get eaten by wolves.

Completely naked, except for holding the gown over her large breasts, she walked deeper into the woods, hoping to find somewhere to curl up for the night, and then she smelled the faint smell of wood burning. Millie stopped to see if she could figure out where it was coming from, the howling of the wolves sounding closer and closer, then she saw a tiny chimney sticking up out of the ground.

Quietly Millie approached the dwelling. It was nearly entirely underground, with a tiny door half above, half below ground. Millie paused to look it over, thinking it must be a hermit goblin living there. Then she heard a sound from inside and a voice of someone who was trying to sound bigger and braver shouting:

"Halt, who goes there?"

What does Millie reply?
