He wasn't a Witcher in the True Sense, but still carried a Griffin's Medallion with him everywhere, as well as A Sword made of Meteorite Steel by the Best of the Best of Mastercraftsmen Smiths, and a Similarly Made Sword of the Finest Silver by the Same Smith.

His body was able to take the Toxicity and strain of A Witcher's Potions, but not as well as someone who underwent the Trials in their Entirety. They Found what looked a mix of the Ducal Guards and Knights Errant in battle aginst a Group of Dead or **** Bandits and a Silver-Lime Basilisk, Subspecies of an already Known Subspecies of Basilisk, like a Silver Basilisk likely. Artur Knew his men would need time to Apply the Hybrid Oil to their Blades and Arrows so he Did what he did Best used Axii, Quen, Aard, and Yrden in quick Succession.

Artur Cast Yrden to Pin the Basilisk down, before using Axii to calm it he then Gently and Humanely killed it, ensing it's Life quickly and painlessly. Sticking a Hybrid Oiled Shortsword into Its eye and by extension, brain. He then Cast Quen around it so as to Protect its Body, before placing a Magical Talisman on its body protecting the Subspecies corpse from Decaying and Withering, for he wanted to perform a full and precise Autopsy to determine a few things. Thats when the Guard Captain reappeared.
