A disaster in the making

It's obvious that things aren't going well. The girls are working on a coordinated routine but several of them seem totally out of sync with the group and you can see the frustration in Ms Wilder's face.

"Ladies this is basic stuff," she shouts. "You can't have forgotten everything we learned over the summer. Rina, come on, you're better than that! You too Bianca! You and Bethany are totally behind the beat. What's wrong with the three of you?" She blows her whistle to stop the routine and stalks towards the three she singled out. They giggle as she approaches, and you realise that they're either drunk or stoned at the same moment Ms Wilder does.

"Let me smell your breath," she barks, sniffing at one of the girls. "That's ****! You were warned about this last year Rina! And you two as well! I'm very disappointed!" The trio giggles at her anger, apparently too loaded to take her seriously.

"That's enough! I'm sending you to Ms. Naylor!" the pretty cheer coach snaps as they dissolve in laughter.

"Big deal! She'll just make us write about it and send us back," one of the girls giggles.

"I'm so disappointed in the three of you!" Ms Wilder says, looking close to tears of frustration. "You're ruining everything for the girls who want to work. Now I have to leave to deal with your foolishness."
