The Wedding

Six months after I got engaged to Red Darling, we were both sitting in the bedroom of Red's best friend Cindy Peters who was helping us both get dressed for our wedding. I was wearing a blue silk gown and of course, Red was wearing a red one. We were both wearing a matching garland of flowers around the top of our heads. We were going to walk each other down the aisle in Cindy' backyard in our bare feet.

I eventually took a look around Cindy's bedroom and took in my surroundings. Cindy's room was definitely the room of a typical girl. She had a pink bedspread on her bed and pink wallpaper on her wall. The only things in the room that weren't pink were the gallery of stuffed animals on the bed which I could almost think were watching us.

While I was looking around Cindy's room from my chair, Cindy took a bottle that contained Red's favorite perfume and squirted her twice with it. I then breathed in the most wonderful smell that I had ever experienced. I did not even want to know what it was called because I was afraid that learning the name would take away some of my enjoyment. Cindy then applied my favorite perfume which was called Lover's Leap to me.

Once the perfume was applied, I was now ready to marry Red. We joined both of our hands and walked outside while Cindy picked up her camera to take pictures. When we got outside, I saw that a path of pink rose petals had been laid out for us. I noticed that a few of Red's friends that I did not know were in attendance. I also couldn't help but notice that several forest creatures were watching the wedding from outside the yard. Presiding over the wedding was a strange man who was wearing a robe that almost made him looked like a wizard from the Harry Potter book. Once the two of us got to the front of the aisle where a floral arch was standing, it was time for us to exchange vows.

"Red Darling, I promise that I will always love and cherish you," I vowed.

"Vanessa Charming, I promise that I will always make you happy and I will always take care of you," Red vowed.

We exchanged our wedding rings next. After that came the really strange part. The weird gentleman wearing a robe took out a wand from inside his robe and zapped the two of us while we were holding hands to bind us. He then fired a blast which seemed to expand and cover the whole sky which announced our nuptials to the world. I don't care if the last part of strange. I was now married to the most beautiful woman in the world, Red Darling whom I am now kissing to seal the deal.
